I didn't realise it was compulsory to go to games. People have to make choices due to other things happening in their lives.

Maybe they didn't want to spend their evening at risk of being stood next to a sanctimonious prick.

Can't make up my mind what went on there, I mean....its RL, not cake decorating but I dunno.
Wigans game this season relies heavily on damaging their opponents, by either taking them out of the game through injury, keeping them quiet or provoking an "incident", of that there is no doubt.
But is that not just one weapon used in an nal that is available to everyone.
Its risky depending on the ref, if you hurt somebody like that you can't be surprised to be red carded, but that's just the chance you take when you spin the wheel.
Obviously I'm taking player welfare out of the equation, nobody not playing in that game could justify that sort of intent.
I'm trying to find O'loghlen guilty of a reactionary stiff arm, unintentional accident or.......something, but it just looks like a cynically filthy forearm designed to cause maximum injury.
Can't fathom how that is only a 2 game ban, Wigan with a bit of nouse can take Hull without him, he should be thinking about pre season training 2017 tbh.

I wonder how much of the blame could be placed on Wane and his pre match comments. I would expect him to get two matches reduced to one with his early guilty plea.

Having seen the video I cannot understand why they think they have a case.
Considering how we have been handled by the Committee I'd be going ballistic if I were Carter and he got off or even a reduction.

Is he having a laugh? Mitigating factors?? What? Annakin tried to headbutt his forearm?

And as for the bit in bold - what can you say?? Bet that's not a quote you'd hear our coach say about any of our players - quite the opposite in fact.

31 previous referrals to Match Review Panel. They've always been too scared to ban him. That's the only reason he has a previously good record!!! Absolute joke

It's corrupt if he gets any reduced ban of less than 3 matches. It was one of the worst head high tackles I've seen for years and the punishment should fit the crime.

£300 fine and a ONE match ban. I kid thee not.

So, in the eyes of the review panel, throwing a ball at a player who has just belted you round the head (Fifita/JJB) is as bad as "clothes lining" somebody.

Much as I dislike Mar, He is the only person that I can see in the game of rugby league who is likely to stand up to the CORRUPT RFL. I'm sure all the clubs outside the Big Four have a reason to think the same about our beloved governing body. O'Loughlin's punishment (?) is a big joke. I can't believe that MC and other clubs don't rally together and challenge their decisions. I'm afraid that corruption is endemic throughout this country, in big business, sport, government etc.

The victim Annakin misses more games than the England International Wigan player O'Loughlin who took his head head off and knocked him unconscious and showed no remorse.



No mention of Manfredi elbowing a Trinity player in the head and getting sin binned then? Surely that was a straight red card...players should be protected and consistency applied.

I always respected Wigan as a club and don't mind their fans but the last few years the way the players & coach have conducted themselves leaves a bitter taste.

Take a look on their forum and you might change your mind about their fans.

Back in the Sixties Wigan had a reputation as being a "dirty" side, but over the years they managed to shake this off. Is it a coincidence that this recent wave of Wigan violence began at more or less the same time that the bucket of lard took over as head coach?
