Its all spin by all clubs..........it says in access of £300,000......so it could be £320,000 / £350,000 / £375,000 etc etc

Guess so, another of the old undisclosed fee things. Myler priced anywhere between 200-275K according to reports.

that money will be put back in his pocket with gleeson fee and cc win money.

however as you say its nothing to be embarassed about, if he wants to put his money into the club then thats his choice and us wire fans are very thankful of it.

Some of that may be reinvested in new players, but some could be used to improve the contracts of players we want to keep. Whatever figures are bandided around to the press - some on here wouldn't be happy unless we signed Darren Lockyer et al with it!

reality is that every year ryan as contemplated a move and every year we have improved his contract , he may of been happy at wakey but obviously not with his wage . we have cut a huge wage and gained much needed funding 150k makes up some what on disappointing crowds.

im very excited about next year and think we will be an improved outfit with or without the players who are going ..the guys who we have next year are so versatile with skill and experience and the young guns will also make a mark.

Ted has backed JK up with everything that is available to do so with. JK is fully involved in decisions to retain / sign or sell players - and is given the scope to use the funding to improve the squad as he sees fit.

For Ryan to go there will have had to have been agreement by the Football Committee - including our Director of Rugby - JK.

Unlike some, JK lives in the real world where bills have to be paid and employees wages met by the income into a business.

I'm not upset about Atkins going, if the lad wants to go then let him. Would have prefered him to go to Leeds though or Saints, not that I dislike Warrington, but I just think he's chosen the wrong club.

Why can't people accept that players come and go. We picked up Atkins for 20k i believe and we've now sold him for 150k, a 130k profit!! It's not exactely like we've lost out

The lad has given 100% for this club since he's been here and whilst it may not have always materialised in Man of the Match performances he hasn't let anyone down. If other clubs come sniffing and want to pay inflated prices that's up to them.

I'll be hoping that Ryan and the rest of the squad can do well in the play-offs to sign off in style. Whatever happens i'll give them all a good send off because that's what they all deserve for performing so well this season.

The club's main aim is to run at a profit. If they have bought a player for 20k and sold him for 150k then i consider that to be good business.

You don't have to like it, but you should at least accept why they've done it

yea I want the club to go forward . We will make a profit without that anyway finishing 5th/6th . We have the 3/4th least wage bill in the league.

You already have when we are running at a loss.

There has to be some balancing out involved. We have made the top 6 - our best season in 5 years at least - and our crowds have dropped!



Can I ask how you propose to balance the books? And can we keep it in the real world please?

We haven't made a profit this season. Infact the gates are down by about a 1,000 i believe.



That doesn't mean we are not spending up to our own cap!
