The tackle by Sam on JJB looked like an attempt to injure, it reminded be of the tackle that did Blanch's nee. Which if my memory serves me right involved Sam bending a player back double in the same way!!!

He may be a petulant so and so but can't think of anyone in the same league with ball in hand. IMO most exciting player in SL doesn't need to resort to niggling stuff.

So time to reduce Super League to 2 sides ....

That take by finch from the kick for the last try was superb.

Zak Hardaker was awful in defence. Spent most of the game turning round to watch a Wigan player run away from him.

What got me was Danny McGuire, when he got the penalty that led to the first Leeds try, where he was caught across the upper chest. When he hit the deck, he looked like he was out cold, arm in the air, in serious trouble. As soon as he got the penalty, he was up. He is a disgrace at times with his play-acting. I have seen him get hit and go down with his eyes closed before, until he gets the penalty. A great player, but he is a faker and a diver.

I've never liked him since he did the very same thing to get Richard Moore binned at Belle Vue, looked like he was dead got the penalty and then jumped up and bounded off to take the tap restart fresh as a daisy. Wigan player also did it last night too.

This is what caused the trouble when he broke his leg, the wigan players were clapping at his performance - not realising he was really injured and not crying wolf again

How poor is Brent Webb though? Since his injury a couple of seasons back his performances have declined. At least now he's reached rock bottom!

I thought Wigan were simply magnificent and their form of 'total' rugby league is just simply awesome and lays a platform for the mercurial Tomkins.

I also though that Child had the best game I've ever seen from him. Sure he got a few technical calls wrong - it happens - but his calm demeanour helped the keep the lid just about on in one of the hardest fought games of the season - yes, even Leeds fought hard at time even though it wasn't their night - sad as it was!

I can forgive Tomkins those sort of antics when playing leeds as they have their fair share of petulant bumholes who don't like it when things are going against them.

Both sides were guilty of some grubby tactics, gamesmanship - it's been a feature at Leeds for many years and was introduced at Wigan under Maguire's tenure and, if anything, seems to have been ramped up under Shaun Wane. Shame really, because they don't need to do it. For example, Finch is clearly in outstanding form, yet I don't think he took a tackle last night without throwing himself on the floor as he was getting up in an attempt to 'win' a penalty.

I wonder if Leeds will be facing any censure for the South Standers abusive chants towards the referee and Sam Tomkins?

I'm honestly not having a go but he doesn't deserve that title just yet IMHO. He absolutely babbed himself in the Tri-nations final against the misters last year - he was a disgrace in that game.

Until he's addressed that particular issue for me he's just a pocket sized trickster who manages to baffles the simpletons of SL. He'd get mullered in the NRL at present.

I'm not saying the ability isn't their, I'm just not convinced the ticker or the ambition to be the worlds best RL is. I see him coasting through the next 3 years in SL, never really bothering the real men from the Southern Hemisphere and then taking the Union silver on a less than deserved reputation in RL..

Was talking to a couple of leeds fans last night and it was brilliant listening to them crying about how unfair it was and how all the decisions went aginst them, I honestly couldn't keep the big stupid grin off my face!

I was praying for him to go the full length and fork the Southstanders on his walk back, literally praying.
