After a meeting with Davide to discuss this prior to going public, i was extremely excited about the project. We all know that Neil is a Legend and fully deserves this accolade! Davide has always wanted to do something like this and with us moving on strongly with the stadium it seems the perfect time.
I appreciate initially it seems like a big investment but it can be broken down into monthly installments or even shared amongst a family.

I will be backing this with my Dad and Sister as the Amos Family and will be able to look at the Statue and say i played a part in this for many years to come!!

We have a rich heritage in Wakefield as a RL Club and the Neil Fox Sculpture would represent Neil as a person and RL Record Holder...

I will be targeting the corporate and hospitality suite with Expression of Interest forms to keep the momentum up.

This needs to be pushed, Neil Fox is not only a legend but a legend down under. I had the privalage to talk to Graham Langlands a few years back, and he said, Fox was his all time great, and coming from that bloke it does not get any bigger than that.

Graham Ibbeson's work is really good. The Dicky Bird statue is a remarkable likeness and the new Fred trueman statue that's hopefully going to be unveiled in Skipton is his best yet.

Reckon it will be the image that someone uses on here as an avatar, of him plonking it down in the corner, going towards the camera.

The funding is not complete, we have a process to follow and hopefully the commissioning of the maquette will be authorised soon. We have around 20 people who have confirmed there purchase of the Elite Membership Package, the Wakefield Council are obviously showing an interest and we have some events pencilled into the diaries.

This will be no easy challenge and raising the money (£70,000) will need some generosity and hard work but how ever long it takes the Neil Fox Fund Committee to raise the money, we are determined to make Neil Fox and the rest of his team mates proud.

The sculpture will symbolise success at the highest level, a world record and the golden era. THe package we have proposed is fantastic and granted it may seem expensive to some but seeing the maquette of Don Revie on Tuesday really made the package feel like it's worth every penny.

Overlooked this one ,but the Shaw family are in on this one in memory of my dad who got me into the greatest game on earth as I have done my children and grandchildren
