you need to add Henderson to the list.

| I think Murphy played quite a few Academy games at fullback last year, did anybody see him, and if so, how did he go?
Ferguson is adequate cover for JD at loose forward, so the main area to strengthen seems to be 2nd row (seem to have heard that before), I`d settle for Westwood & Johnson. The nominated 1st team squad, as per RFL rules is 25, so it appears there is room for 2-3 more yet.
How sure are we about Blanch re-signing, seems ominously quiet about that at the moment?

Murphy went really well at Full Back in the Academy/resevrves, strong defender as last line in defence and he's got a good footballing brain, he knows when to come into the attacking line etc.
For me his best position is Centre but I can understand why JK is playing him on the wing in his first few season of 1st grade (a bit like Gleeson in the last few years) if your a centre and you know how a winger plays, when you eventually play centre you'll understand how your winger wants you to defend, pass the ball, cover, communication etc making you a better centre......I think that makes sense :s

Davies is a prop and Vievers is a full back.

| johnson has signed not really sure why the delay in announcing.
At the evening with 4 signings were mentioned not sure who other three are, so guess johnson is cover in centre and back row.
Grix has already gone, but if johnson is seciond row
Blaymire
Blanch
Millard
Gleeson
George
Jeffries
Brough
Korky
Obst
Stosic
Ferguson
Morrison
Demetriou
Tronc
Moore
Newton
Johnson
On top of this hopefully leo latu, henderson, murphy, bibb plus the academy team
I think all of the above with exception of JD are already committed to next season unless some one knows different
Looks a strong starting 13, but truthfully they will do well to perform as well as this team 2009 hasnt been just about the league position its the way we have played imo

You highlighted that we need another centre, and at the same time suggested that George could play at FB if required. In that case then what is wrong with playing George in his natural positions' that being a centre if required not to mention Murphy, it would make more sense to me.

I'd guess it would be we cover a bit of the wages, Wigan cover the other part. They get to keep a hand on good prospects who otherwise they may have to release for salary cap reasons, we get the use of a potentially good young player on the cheap. Considering the relative financial resources of both clubs, it suits us both.

keep him away, we don't want him in any shape or form..as for winterstein, he has been unlucky with injuries this year. i would like to see him stay but don't know enough about whether we are able to keep him.

Should he have a squad space though when we should be looking at giving the academy players we've promoted a chance.
In my mind, I have nothing against top-notch imports playing in our league, but it does nothing for the international set-up when we import journeymen to fill up squad spaces and quota spots.

I watched the Hull v Wakefield 2004 play off game the other night and Spicer was, like the majority of the rest of the Trin lads, outstanding. Never really kicked on though?
