I don’t understand why Gaskell is at FB.
As an attacking FB he’s not as good as Jowitt.
Team selection is puzzling and that’s down to the coach I’m afraid.

Having watched kr and hull they are quite horrendously bad , week three we are playing a solid super league team in reasonable form - Our forwards actually were on top , but our backs are atrocious , we said on way over could our depleted backs handle sio croft brierly - obviously not

The problem is that too many of the shirt fillers are already contracted for next season. We have had two close wins against off form opposition and people have thought we have turned the corner. Putting a team on the field with many players who are not SL standard and these esults will happen more often than not. |

There is no excuse for playing Minns … how many tries have gone through him ? He’s been the same every time he’s played ! We are obvs short in the backs for speed where’s Bowes to create a bit of pace ??? Jowitt must have done something really bad ! Salford haven’t needed forwards cos they’ve just whipped the ball out wide . We have been roundly our coaches imo … just gone in again all down to speed ! |
