Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Anxiety is a building block towards this. Anyone who dismisses this or uses it as Troll fodder want to simply be embarrassed of themselves. Chemical imbalances and life’s struggles all have an impact, because let’s face it life can be pretty crap at times, even for a child who I had to try but fail to resuscitate down in A & E from an overdose/ suicide. Everyone struggles, most just don’t say anything. Massive learning point for some people I reckon.

Big of you to share that Pat, can’t imagine that was easy on you either.

Massively important for men and women to speak up about this sort of thing, hopefully others (especially a few on here) realise that sooner rather than later.

Something that wasn’t ‘because he’s still a giants player’ which is a load of old cobblers- much like his view on those suffering with anxiety. Edit. Too far Jools...... Poptart

I'm happy for people to share their experience, whether just to publicise the issues or to educate if you feel it will.
In fact I think it's important people do just that. Some very moving comments above.

Vastman this is clearly a subject you know nothing about, just accept you posted without checking based on you perceived prejudices. What you are now doing is trying to deflect from the fact you clearly don’t know anything about anxiety, I would suggest you stop digging and accept the reality.
I should know because I have suffered with panic attacks for over 20 years all caused by the pressure of work and finding some travel sickness tablets on my plane seat. I clearly remember saying that is something I don’t need to worry about and then had my first attack. I can tell you I would not wish this on anyone because the symptoms are quite frightening. The attacks spread to all public places and can occur without warning, it could be a strange sound which meant I had to know how to get away to feel comfortable.
I am on medication which I must take everyday for the rest of my life but it is worth it because the alternative is isolating and staying at home.
It is not a sign of weakness whatever you think but I am fortunate that unlike a professional person I can take prescribed medication that might not be available to them.
The bottom line is shut up and concentrate on something you know about.

It surprises me that someone as frail as your good self could be responsible for some of the bile you've posted since your sudden appearance on the forum about 8 years ago.

I will tell you anxiety does not make you weak or incapable to think for yourself and this type of post shows the ignorance of people like you who are just embarrassing, the sad thing is that you don’t know why.

Many of your posts on here show you know nothing about embarrassment.

No they show that I do not accept everything I am presented with to be fact.

What like the club claiming that signing Liam Hood was fake news when in fact it was the fake news that was fake. If you can let me know anything I have posted which I claim to be factual with regards the club please let me know. If I am incorrect I will usually admit it when corrected which can be a little novel for some on here.
I expect the usual to come to your defence due to your close association to the clubs inner sanction, it is as if you were on the board.

I did try but I admit that the ignorance of some are beyond belief. When it comes to Jose then maybe you could get Vastman to have a word with his friend because where did I mention the club if it reassures them I could just be as obviously be referring to Boris Johnson who I never take any statement as fact because it rarely is. I know a little political but it is an example that not everything is club centric which Jose appears to be presume it is, a clear sign of insecurity.

Be careful. Your insinuations and accusations of insecurity are beginning to effect my mental health. You should know better.
