it makes me laugh every time I read a comment about a new team. Can anyone help me out and please show me this rule that we have broken. Every player we signed/loaned was done before the deadline.

Funny lot these Leigh fans on our board.
Couldn't get rid of them when they beat us in the Cup because they were the 'best team in the universe'! No mention of salary caps or 'not a level playing field'.
Now all of a sudden they are having to back their one off performances week in week out, their Primary School bully tactics have been found out now they have moved up a class.

All we've had (in the rugby press) is how Wakefield would be relegated and that they aren't as good as the top clubs in the Championship.
Well, it seems that although Leigh did well yesterday, with plenty of help from Child, they still couldn't beat the bottom SL club, on their own patch.

Do you still think Leigh would be competitive in SL, probably not.

Your club has done a great job over the last couple of seasons and you will still get another bite at the cherry in the £million game.

Don't be bitter about defeat, just take it on the chin and move on, after all nobody should win EVERY week, it's boring.

I don't think anyone thinks Leigh are a bad team it's just, as said above, we have taken a lot of stick this year and are probably reacting to the Sky hype.
We didn't deserve to beat you in the Cup but we worked hard for that win yesterday when no one thought we would compete 2 weeks ago.
We are enjoying it.

Not too sure about that mate. We've had two tough games against 'Fax and Bradford this season - no guarantee we'll beat either of them. Beware of 'Fax - they are probably the form team of the Championship at the back end of the season. (that's probably condemned them to defeat against Sheffield today!!)

As for your coach, he has done a great job - and to your players, who toughed it out in a tight situation. I wonder if the Trinity, pre Brian Smith would have achieved that? And that is probably the best measure of how much he has achieved for the club.

Here's hoping that we can find some semblance of form over the next four games, and earn the right for another crack at you guys. (after all, we have a better record against you at BV, than we do at LSV!

The difference here fella is that when you beat us in the cup I went straight on the Leigh forum to congratulate them on the win, said the best team won on the day and wished the club well in the next round.

You and other so called Leyther fans like you just don't have the character to accept a defeat!

after todays results it would appear that nothings for sure. One game at a time and do not expect other results to go our way. preparation , responsibility , and hard work will see us ok. keeping calm and keeping the penalty count low will also go a long way to favourable results.

RL were hoping Leigh would be in £1 million game. They wouldve got a decent crowd. But then again its not impossible for us to be there yet is it in reality. All the best Avenger. No malice meant.
