I voted no, for the simple reason of, the decisions made and nothing short of the Crusaders or another club going bust before the start of next season will change that.
As frustrating as this is, 100% of our efforts should be focused on the future and not wasted on the past.
If we are out again, it's not because we aren't good enough, it's because of contrived circumstances, we can hold our head high.
Other that contributed to our downfall may have it on their consciences (and i hope they do, but sadly i doubt it!!) but not the players or supporters of our club.

Whilst not happy with the decision I could accept us losing our licence if we were shown the scoring applied to each franchise application and it turned out that ours was not one of the 13 strongest from the current 14 SL clubs plus Halifax.

I have stated all along that if the RFL publish and justify their decisions with facts then I would accept it. What I will not accept (without a fight anyway) is that we have been sacrificed for a club that scores worse than us and brings less to the game than us. It may do no good but the RFL and various press establishments will hear from me in that case and I will quite happily besmirch the name of the RFL. At the end of the day Rugby League is a SPORT and I feel on-field performance should carry some weight. The RFL seem totally at odds with this theory which is just ridiculous in my opinion.


Sorry but I for one am not prepared to just accept any decision and go away quietly in the hope of being accepted back in 3 years time. What we as fans can do may have little sway but I don't believe we should give up with barely a whimper.

It looks cheap protesting after we have been through the process which we agreed to and failed.

Also I thought we would make every effort to make the rfl have difficult time throwing us out by finishing in a decent position but it's looking like we couldn't even do that (check our delegation rivals salford/cas) table position.

I have no complaints to be honest if we lose out licence on the 26th. We have had more than enough time to sort tings out. We dug ourselves into the mess we are in. Nobody else put us into administration and caused our present problems.

I do think that Championship rugby will give us chance to regroup and come out stronger. We will have 3 years move the club forward and plan accordingly. We do need the fans to stick by the club, i know we have been let down, but this is a time when the club need us most.

As per usual you have missed the point of the post. We have only our selves to blame that is Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and nobody else. We have had more than enough time to resolve the ground issue. I understand from other threads that Land sale agents are advertising BV for sale and that our lease expires at the end of the year - how the hell did that come about? We should have never been put in this position. I do realise that these are not connected with AG, but others were involved who are still in employment with the club. You shape your result by slanting the question. There are different ways to fight our plight, and I think we should, as a club, work with the RFL, not against them. Widnes swallowed the pill and waited, and they are back in. What good will protesting do? The RFL are hardly likely to turn round and change their mind. Go down with some dignity and then rebuild to come back, and the best way to do that is to stick with the club, stick with the game, keep money coming through the turnstiles so that we can build a good team playing in front of decent crowds.

To get in the top flight we have to look like a top flight club when we are in the Championship.

And what are we protesting about? Twelve years in the top flight and we are further back than we first came in. Our stadium depends on a politician's nod and the previous owners did nothing for the club, because they were too busy sorting out inflated salaries for their family and working out how to make a fat profit on Belle Vue. We have gone into administration, and the team we are putting onto the pitch is the weakest in all of our top flight years.

As fans, we don't deserve to go, and the future is brighter under Glover, but we have done little to justify our inclusion and plenty to justify our exclusion.

I think that going down will be the end of any possible quick return to Super(?)league.
I believe that Crusaders will not survive many more seasons, if indeed they survive this one The big players will then demand that Sooooper league should be reduced to 12 teams and another less favoured outfit will face the chop.
God, I feel pessimistic, But I will still be on the terraces watching my team.
