The new stewards we have do a good job and don't take crap off anybody alot better than the last lot and very proactive and experienced in crowd control

fine by me, i always stand there anyway, put ruddy teddy back in cot, its our ground, our team, our club and our new stand and Mr Glover and Jimmy Elston can do what the hell they like in my eyes, they are listening to what the fans of TRINITY want and are delivering, and what they have done this week about the where Cas fans should go is just plain and simple common sense, come over on Friday enjoy the game then go away and come back next year, sorry we are putting you Cas fans out for 80 minutes but i'm sure you will get over it

Couldn't give a flying fig where I stand at Wheldon Road, as long as I'm watching Trinity.

No one is saying Cas can't stand there.....we are just trying to improve the atmosphere by all the Wakefield fans standing together......which might just make it tighter stand if Cas fans go there too.

I attend the cas v wakey games with one of my best mates who happens to be a cas fan however now due to the segrigation she will have to stand in one place and myself in another which i think is not right. I can go down the lane with her for the reverse fixture stand where i want without an issue.

The main reason for the segrigation from what i can see is to make a home end for the noise and to keep rival fans from causing trouble. Well thats simple people who are tanked up should not be served more beer, at two of the other home games there were a few who were worse for wear trying to fight with opposition and home fans. Simple answer to that chuck them out

I can totaly see what the clubs trying to do re the North stand, and we shall be stood there on friday night BUT i do think this is the wrong game to introduce this new plan. The game has alot of pressure on it already, feelings always run high for the game and i think this new plan of north stand been wakey fans could add fuel to the already heated feelings and end up causing trouble. Its a sad world we live in where a game of rugby causes such heated feelings and detracts from the game/sport itself, but its fact that there is always trouble at or after this game. I for one will not be bringing my kids to the game this year as i feel there willl be too much bad feeling at the ground even tho its MENT to be a FAMILY SPORT !!!! Nothing wrong with a bit of banter between opposition supporters but i think this is going to cause trouble. Just my feelings and we are all entitled to our own opinions.

With what you said is why we have introduced segregation the north stand is ours and a packed mixed stand for this fixture would cause problems and it's WTRLFCs responsibility to make sure the crowd is safe

The Cas fans are to be given the north east section of the ground.
I dont know how it will work exactly and there will be many people who dont wear club colours who will be "mixed" in with opposition supporters
but without some guidance there could be some hassle which neither club wants and the game cretainly doesn't need.

I think it's a ridiculous decision to impose this new rule at this game, can't believe WTW have decided to do this with such short notice, it also opens them up for refunding tickets to disgruntled Cas fans as I am pretty sure that this is a breach of the "sales of goods & services act" poor decision IMO and definitely not enough notice given, I can't remember ever seeing any trouble at BV when we have played cas all seems a bit pointless and maybe a tad antagonistic

I think that you're getting carried away there, but we do have to consider our friends from accross the common and they may not be best pleased with the plan.

I agree with F.T. - I think it's a move more likely to cause trouble rather than prevent it .

Right this is how I understand it. Cas can only get in through the Doncaster Rd end where they will then be directed into the East side of the North stand? So if that’s right then they are undercover in the East side of the North stand, The Wakey fans will be in the West side of the North stand. Have I got that right??

Had to go down to the ground to buy a ticket for a friend & asked for clarification as I have a friend who will be going (as a CT fan) & wanted to get the "party line".

The new North Stand is for HOME FANS ONLY. There is a small area on the corner of the North Terrace that isn't under the cover of the stand, this is the ONLY place CT will be allowed to go other than the Eastern Terrace, which is a FAMILY AREA & can be used for BOTH sets of fans.

Whilst the diagram does show an area of the North Terrace access to the new covered area will be reserved for HOME FANS ONLY.

The same restrictions/advice will apply to ALL clubs/away fans who visit BV in the future.

It's our stand , our ground we paid for it we'll use it as our chairman likes (you know the guy who paid for it). It's not like were charging more for the away fans like Hull. They Still have the option of standing under cover in the North Stand on the East side. The facilities provided are no worse than the Wakey fans are getting. Pathetic reaction.

No they don't they can stand in the "North East corner of the stadium as per their choosing".
They can stand in the northeastern corner- which isn't covered by the new stand.

That’s not what the new ground lay out shows. It clearly shows a third of the North stand in orange to indicate the Cas area.

Is it just me or are Cas fans blowing this massivley out of proportion. There are already alot of superleague clubs that are doing this so its nothing new. I just want to make a point in which the exact same fixture at castleford last season me and a freind were turned away from a turnstile as we were told that we had to enter down at the away turnstiles? Whats the difference? As for Dickie i think he is making a clown out of himself. Very unproffesional if you ask me. The guys an absoloute joke.
