I couldn't disagree more i am afraid. Halfback is exactly where we need to improve. We currently have two headless chickens running around out there. I cant fault either of them for effort, but neither has a ounce of composure nor a good passing or kicking game.

Even 8f Gale can't cut it at SL level, I've said before he may be able to guide our current halves in how to end a set, I'm thinking more about a coaching role. Is Finn still on the coaching staff?

Don't think he is, frankly even now he'd offer more leadership than the rest of the team put together, never been replaced.

Gale will always be able to cut it in SL so long as he's reasonably fit, he's head and shoulders above what we have. Like Finn he doesn't depend on pace, he's got the knowledge and he's also a chippy little sod who loves to win.

We don`t know the options he has, from what I hear from his old pal he knocks about Swillington with is he will be leaving Leeds with a year left on his deal and his options right now are 3 SL clubs and a championship club that are really keen on him, that was on the basis they were looking to ship him out even sooner which it seems may now not be the case unless wire let Austin go early, so as long as you see those other 2 clubs as far better options than us then fair play. The old we can`t afford him yet we publicly come out and say we had money in the pot for the likes of Andrew Fifita and were able to offer a big whack to Westy.

And I have to disagree with you sir ,as I see it an NRL half wouldn’t make a jot to our attack with the attacking structures we have in place, that is down to the coach and his systems ,which are suspect to say the least .

Absolutely spot on IMO, Lino quite obviously has the ability, the only thing he is guilty of imo is forcing play which when he is lacking any sort of running lines or options he can be forgiven for.

Think the nearest we get to running lines, is the guy who marks the pitch out

Need a 6 and 7 for sure and I would then try Lino a 9 can’t see Gale coming to Trinity and not sure if it would be worth the gamble with his injury record but if fit he’s better on one leg than Miller.

Nah a loan player who cant get in huddersfield side cost us. Without those two shocking efforts from Senior they would not have got their first trys and back into the game. That turned the momentum in my opinion.

That was definitely the turning point.

The Turning point for me was coming out the second half with the wrong game plan and wrong attitude and the rest is history . Love to hear the motivational speech he gives the lads at half time

Salford have just signed Brodie Croft. Would have loved him at Wakefield.
