| It's good to see CC giving the young lads a chance!
I would hate to lose such as Max Jowitt, and others who I see as the clubs future.
It's up to them now!

| Quote ="Adam_Harrison9"I personally think the time has come where you have to weigh up the positives/negatives of having Finn in the 13. His in game kicking game has been nothing short of rubbish so far this year and his goal kicking just about okay. He's got it upstairs but it is starting to hurt us in attack with how slow he is physically in my opinion. I think it's time we started looking to the future and blooding Hampshire - the boy needs to be getting games and I think he deserves a shot all things considered.
I'd also be picking Batchelor/Crowther over Horo from what I've seen. Not that Horo doesn't lack effort. I can't fault his effort but he doesn't particularly stand out in attack and he's a liability in terms of discipline in defence.'"
I agree. I also know it's been a long season for Finn and Grix so letting the young lads come in for a few games and show what they can do won't do any harm and let Finn and Grix get some rest.
IMO I'd have Batch in for Horo, for all his effort he misses too many tackles, tackles Batch wouldn't mss generally.

Wakefield used a completely different approach to their players who were involved in the World Cup.
Other sides, notably Leeds and Wigan, rested their returning players far more than Trinity, whereas, Trinity, especially with our opening fixtures being more winnable, appeared to go for getting some points on the board, probably hoping to give the likes of Grix and Finn a rest during the season.
This will be crucial if we are in the mix at the end of the season.
However, getting the 4 wins to start the season had to be worth it.
It's all about getting the best from the whole squad, either when injuries force our hand or, man management and of course tactically.
It's a little too soon to be writing Finn off and he will come back fully refreshed when Chester puts him back in.

I'll be surprised if this isn't Finn's last season tbh.
I'm genuinely exited to see how Hampshire does against a top side. I think he could be brilliant but he needs games.

| Really looking forward to this game.
I do think we can, and will win this game, though not by the score of the OP, though there’s nothing wrong with positivity.
They do look weak down the middle, though Fafita will be a big miss for us.
I also saw on the squad list that there was no Finn, so I presume Hampshire went well at Hull. I was away last week, with limited WiFi.
Out of curiosity, how did he get on?

| Well, without wishing to put a curse on the weather, it's a cracking day for a game of RL.
Dry, no wind and nice and warm (relatively).
Got a good vibe for this afternoon.
24 - 16 to Trinity.
MoM Johnstone
Crowd 7400 (or capacity)
Come on Trin !

He went well and his running game caused problems but we need players to support him. One area we lack is our support play.

| I'm really looking forward to the game today.
I'm a big fan of Finn but it will be interesting to see Hampshire against Myler as they have a similar type of game.
Miller and Hampshire will have a lot more speed to track Myler and Moon down who are both runners.
Hopefully we won't suffer for the lack of Finn's brain.

Think you will be ok. Although it will be a good crowd, there is no mention of a sell out anywhere.
Mind you, I would get there early as the Rhinos fans struggled like hell with the ticketing system on Boxing day.
IIRC there was a 15 minute delay to KO and todays crowd should be better.
Get there early an sneak for a "straightener"

| Cringeworthy that fans are blaming the ref (again). It's not their fault the team switch off for 15 mins in the second half.

| Thought some great performances from Trinity today. Horo had is bets game, Kirmond and Ashurst put in great shifts. To me Hampshire should keep his shirt. Hurst gets better.
Would like to see a but more from Randell, think Woody is better option at the moment. However Pauli just not doing it, 2 pens and one knock on in an otherwise ineffective short spell.

| Agree about Pauli though to be fair the amount he drinks and smokes the fact he can get on the pitch is a minor miracle its not his fault hes getting picked.
The guy is a liability how long are people prepared to give him to get fit lol hes had a full pre season and 8 games the reason he is so far off the mark is due to his off field antics its disrespectful to the club and his team mates.

| Still not good enough and I can't see where a win is coming from. Back to the old tactics of switching off between 45 and 65 min when in the lead and then spending the rest of the game chasing the lead again. A few dodgy calls went against us which certainly didn't help matters, but it's not just down to poor officiating. We're now 5 losses in a row with the league leaders up next

| Genuinley thought you would win this one when I saw the team that Leeds put out, heard you were winning by 10 points then very surprised to hear you had lost when we were travelling home from the giants game.
Everything has been going so well over the last 12 months for you, does this put Chester under any pressure now this winless run is increasing ?
Hope not as I think he has/is doing a good job

Oh I do appolagise I was under the impression that this was a 'forum' and the last I checked this word ment an exchange of views.
Are views not allowed on here when you lose ?
It's a genuine observation about today's game and a genuine question asking if you guys think Mr Chester is under any pressure.
Next time I will only commemt when you are winning again !!!!!
