I'm having the same problem with our lawn and only got three dogs running on it, I noticed belle vue looks to have suffered a bit but nothing like that

I know we've had some rain but that doesn't cause the lack of grass. If it had been Cas or Wakey the sky team would have been urging the RFL to kick us out.

Is some other club playing a different sport using that pitch, because there looked to me to have different markings on there.

Yorkshire Carnegie play union on it. Have done for years.

Wonder what Richie Mathers would say about that.

Toatally agree the pitch is awful. But they showed everyone how to play rugby as a Wakey fan to see that was worrying & the coaches ...... Webster & Agar you couldn't write the script

The Wigan pitch puzzles me even more, there is serious wear and tear in the in goal area. How does that happen unless thats their allocated training area. lol

An ex player from years back told me that Belle Vue is more like a football pitch, rock solid.

Many of our current players say it isn’t the best to play on. Always looks nice, but poor under foot apparently.
