I think Bill would be better placed on the wing for this one, with his running style I think he’d find the gap more often.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinions but I can't see the benefit of moving Bill and therefore changing the combo with Tom. No doubt the bloke would be a monster if you stuck him anywhere but with Arundel being such a good back up, he slips into centre and Lyne onto the wing imo. Ateotd it's not as if Lyne isn't a real handful anyway, with like I said before a little more pace than Bill. We'll see anyway. Hopefully, we can play some good RL, keep the errors and pens down and gain another win.

To be fair either or with Tupou or Lyne on the wing, just feel Arundel is more of a wingers centre from the few occasions they have played together Johnstone always seems to benefit from it. Tupou will play exactly the same way playing centre or wing so there is no real change for him.

I'm bringing mr grumpy and neither of us driving so planning a few before/during/after game and maybe pie shop if you fancy tagging along

I'd be shocked if it's not Tupou on the wing. Can't remember Reece Lyne ever playing on the wing for us.

Played on the wing for us loads of times - in fact many of the experts on here said that’s where he should stay as he’d never make it as a centre, mmmm.

If anyone remembers the million pound game, Lyne played on the outside of Tupou. Obviously our squad has changed a lot since then!

Quite surprised to see Catalan with 8 start on the handicap.

BT said himself upon his arrival at Wakefield that he had played as a winger his whole career, right from coming through the junior grade up until his season at Canberra and that centre was a relatively new position for him. His centre play has improved a hell of a lot since he has been here at Wakefield, as Vastman alluded to a lot of people kept banging on that he would never make a centre... How he has proved them people wrong.

True even had the nickname while starting at the Warriors in the NRL as the 'mini beast' after Manu Vatuvei who also played on the wing for them.

There is no doubt Tupou is good for us in the centre
But I'd still move him to the wing as he can still make a lot of ground for us and knows the position.
Lyne has played there but I never felt comfortable when he did.
And Arundel can set TJ away to get him the tries he needs.

Tbh I can see both sides of the argument and it'll be interesting which way he goes. I wouldn't be surprised if he does put Bill on the wing because he has more gone that way when he's needed to than Lyne of recent times. it probably makes more sense when you think that Arundel plays centre on the same side as Bill as well, so almost like for like swap around.

And move Johnstone onto the other wing ?

Nope. He stays where he is. Tupou has to adapt.

Arundel can play either centre position so it doesn't matter who moves.

Yep, this. Obviously, if he does move Tupou to cover BJB, Arundel slots into his position as he seems adept at playing at either left or right centre and Bill will do his job no matter what side of the park he's on.

Tbh even with MCB gone, it's not a real headache is it when you can move either centre to cover BJB and you've got someone with Arundel's qualities waiting to slot in.

To be honest the wing is the least of our worries.
They try and steam roll us down the middle.
