So I wonder if you'll be getting one of ours??? I would be surprised if it's Ellis cause he was kissing and cuddling me on Saturday night in Normy when I said I was a Cas fan. Althoguh that's obviously nothing to go by.

Besides I actually am in the minority that rates Ellis.

Nobody really signs young English half-backs to go straight into the first team any more, Ellis is one that Cas have put faith in and he's done OK which is promising, so good luck to him, he deserves to develop into a nice player

Although you may be right, as I understand it, we are in the final stages of getting a scrum half so unlikely to be one of the Cas ones as that would seem to be a reaction to this news.
Unless it was a plan all along and we were all waiting for Finn's signing to get it moving.

I suppose there is a slight reservation in that Ellis was brought to Hull whilst Kath and Agar were there if my memory serves me.

However someone has also reminded me that Seymour was only brought in on a short term pre season contract due to his problems. Perhaps Powell has now decided he isn't up to it and he will released.

Would be more likely after a quote that he can cover hooker, one of Cas's quality hookers maybe on the move.

Just listened to the interview from BBC Leeds and it seems Powell has brought him in as cover for pivots, believes that a full-time environment will only improve him.
