can you imagine if after all this build up, no rumour leaks, all the anticipation and exitement and then Andrew Glover and James Elston stand up and announce..........."we are halfing the season ticket prices for next season !!"

I have no idea what your big meeting is about just as none of you have so i wont do any trolling over that but the Cedar court one has me puzzled, I would have thought that your cats bar would have held as many as that because I think the biggest conference room there only holds 500 and I also think it is around £5000 to hire out to cappacity, but having said that mr Glover does seem to be all about the show with some of his new initiatives he has put in place. but all the same it could be one hell of an anouncment that he has for you.

What makes you think I have been taken in by any of what Richard Wright says, All he has done is try to put cas in the best light he can regarding the ground and to be honest with you ithink he deserves 10/10 for his efforts and if he gets us our franchise he deserves 15/10, because as many of you have said on here before he really is the master of spin and he will do for me any day.

I am absolutely amazed that nobody has leaked it, and it is a credit to all who know that they have kept quiet.
It seems that the days of the poodle power has long gone, and that is to the benefit of the club overall.
I just hope and pray that it's worth the wait, we've all been let down so spectacularly over the years, it's not surprising we're all getting a bit nervous.

The longer this goes on without a leak the more I think it is going to be a non event ie there is no news I just hope for the personal safety of our chairman and chief executive it is something worth all the fuss or they may end up getting lynched.

Booking an expensive venue, losing the bar takings and confidently stating that the announcement is massive?

I go for - Steve Parkin steps out of the shadows and we're shown plans for a new stadium that we'll be sharing with his wendyball team; no waiting for the NM inquiry, no more money worries and a huge leap ahead of our main rivals in terms of showing tangible progress on the stadium issue.

I can see where you are coming from but my wonder is how would a new site be different from newmarket? which could be ready to be built on by next year, a new site would surely only be ready after PP at the same time?

I reckon we will, i think people are panicking mainly due to let downs of the past.

Spoke to the stadium announcer on twitter. He knows what it is an has been sworn to absolute secrecy. Said to him, I don't want any clues on what the announcement is but is it as massive as they are all making out? His reply was yes, quite probably. I haven't got the foggiest and I don't think anyone on here has, it's great that it's all been kept under wraps. Wednesday can't come soon enough, I can't see how it could be anything securing our sl status as that will be revealed in a months time or so and no one knows (though all and sundry have predicted it's us) what that outcome will be. I'm hoping it will be specific details about our franchise application that will make our bid stronger (ie stadium news) and give the powers that be something to really think about, coupled with new investment that could allow us to build a really strong side next season whichever league we may be in.
