No player is bigger than the club, egos in sport can be a great asset to a player but that can also spiral out of control.

Love him as a player big fan. Think he's one player who is box office and will get kids watching us and he's great for the fans.

However loads of people have died of covid and this measure was put in place to save lived and the players and their families health.

People seeem to be suggesting it may not be true e.g. just the clubs saying it but that could possilby result in a law suit so it HAS happened. I support Trinity the club and the players commited to it. Not sure Dave is and not wearing a tracker is a far more disrespectful to his fellow players and their families than taking or not taking the knee.

This incident aside, the best thing Dave could do is to have an honest conversation with himself. IMO the heights he reached for 6 months whilst at Wakefield was World Class. It wasn't a one off world class game, it was months. If you're capable of that, the question id ask is why hasn't that been consistent throughout his career? He's 31 now and before he knows it he'll be fish and chip paper. If he wants it he's another 5 years of Rugby League. You don't get this time back, it's ticking.
Too many players don't reach their true potential and if he's not careful he'll end his career one of them.

Like others, I have fond memories of DF ripping up the defence (remember the run down the left wing!) but he now looks a shadow of his former self and I think we have had the best out of him. He's never been super slim for us, but he looks a stone overweight to me, so perhaps for the sake of both parties we should go separate ways.

Given his injury problems would have thought a few months off would have been a great opportunity to come back fitter stronger and lighter . Will have fond memories of the guy - the try from 50 metres out against Hull is a particulate favourite. It’s just such a bizarre and disappointing issue to end on.

They didn't decide not to kneel with 'him', they agreed to stand united. He put himself on the outside not the other way around. The rest of the squad took advice and also decided to stand for many reasons, one of which was because of the backlash Israel Folau got for not kneeling because of his religious beliefs, as there are some members of our squad who don't kneel to anyone except their god.
