Like him or not as a player BJ is a genuine bloke who's spent quite a long time at Wakefield Trinity and he has a genuine emotional attachment to the club much like JD, Korki, You and me.

As a player, employee, husband & dad you sometimes have to go where the wages and the contract offer you security and shouldn't be criticised for that.

I've got no problem with character assassination where it's deserved and I've got no problem with criticising someone's ability as a player but BJ IMO doesn't deserve to the personal stuff that sometimes gets levelled at him.

Always been a BJ fan myself, pace to burn and scored some cracking tries in his time at Belle vue. For some reason he is a target when things go wrong. I hope we have a replacement lined up

+1, we are a better team with BJ in it IMO and much of the criticism on here is pretty laughable

Good luck bj. Great game v quins and hull fc this season. If he played like that every week I'd be devastated to see him go. Unfortunately he doesn't. However were now one experienced player in a key position down so either JK has put his faith in Hyde/wildie or we have another player lined up.

I think it will be his experience we are going to miss the most, in such a young squad an old head it valuable

That kind of extreme inconsistency is hard to replace.

It does seem a weird move for me, The Bulls have plenty of halves with Herbert, Kearny, Briggs, Sykes, Southernwood. Also speaking to a couple of Bradford fans, they say that their attack is not too bad but it is their defence that is letting them down so i can't see how signing a player like BJ who is good in attack but isn't going to improve their defence.

Any ideas on whether the Bulls have paid any sort of fee? I thought with the recent takeover you were "stable" and less in need of the cash, or, has planning started in the assumption you may not get a franchise so are happy to play the younger players more regularly to prepare for next year?

Which ever Bradford fans you have talked to must be watching different Bulls games to the rest of us. We have a horrible attack its all forwards and it only ever gets in hands in our own half, the structure we play is terrible and we resort t drilling the ball into tpuch cos we cant go forward and dont have any half to direct us.

Can't imagine a fee being paid, would hope its freeing up a wage for a new recruit.

A bad move really imo, unless there is a deal about to happen that we do not know about, on a positive note it will make all the BJ critics on here happy no doubt.

Maybe it just suited both parties. We had no need to give him up because he's on a contract, and so I presume we were happy to let him go, he was happy to go, and Bradford were happy to have him. It could be for any number of reasons. Maybe he was just getting twitchy because he thinks we are going down and so was unsettled, and you can hardly blame him. Maybe he didn't fit into the team of young scrappers and misfits. Maybes and who knows. Not a great loss, but would have been an occasional asset if he'd stayed.

I cant believe BJ has gone back to Bradford where he hardly had a good time of it before did he?! Anyway good luck to him and I hope we have a new recruit in the pipeline to replace him
