It quite common and helps finance stadium builds lot of examples of apartments/flats built within corners of the stadium or back of stands. Lots of football stadiums have this set up.

Retail park and student accommodation, wonder how they'll fit that on to the Superbowl site and still have some parking for said retail park. I suppose it depends how much accommodation they want and how high they can get planning for it.

Just watching west ham v saints didn't know that as Tennant's that they can only us Olympic stadium on match days and cannot train there ,hope that is not the deal for trinity

As the first few results have shown away teams will love playing there where as Upton Park was always a hard place to get results, reports of major teething problems & West Ham fans aren't too impressed with the place.
If the redeveloped Belle Vue community stadium happens we will be able to use it every day if we want to.

Most of the Trust members are awaiting an update too! Not happy about it either!

As TRB has said we are waiting on an update but in any event the plans are irrelevant without first securing the funding to build it.

When is the next meeting?

No. we have Planning Permission and a S106 (UU) for a stadium at Newmarket. It is our fall-back position and the one we will pursuer if we are unable to secure a deal for elsewhere, be that at BV or other.
