We will have a new stand and pitch but what about the eyesore that is the west stand I have not seen anything regarding this area but I may be wrong, coupled with our recent form over the last three seasons might not help. I hope you are correct because I have little faith that our current incumbents will help improve the squad and we need to revert back to the ground to save us.
If we survive we have another life given to us, I hope they take it to give us the best chance to be in the top 10 and virtually guarantee our place.

I dont think the 2x10 is a given. That was the plan most liked by the top few clubs so they could get even more money. Now we have IMG running the show i suspect all options will be back. However it wouldnt suprise me if they come up with something totally fifferent that we have never seen before.

Anyone who follows cricket will know about the 100 . Many traditionalists hate it as its so far removed from the original game and all the teams are contrived and they go over the top with match day raz mataz. My money is on something simillar comming from IMG.

Surely it would be top 9 next year, or is there no promotion from the championship next year? So if it is 2 x10 based on league position, it would be top 9 with 1 up and 10, 11 and 12 down.

If promotion is in place next year and it goes to 2 x 10 and it is based on the league table and not a franchise model, then it has to be 3 down.

12 teams + 1 up = 13 - 3 down = 10

Granted, depends on 2 things, promotion from the Championship and it being based on league placings.

I’ll tell you straight, IMG won’t use a shred of sentiment in their decision making, history will count for nothing and neither will friendships or relationships!

They can do what they like, thats their brief. Super League has handed over the keys of the house and left them in charge of the redecorating and what they say goes.

This is well off subject but as we are here.

In reality, if there are 10 places in the top league, Wigan. Sts, Leeds, Warrington are guaranteed no matter what the criteria.
Probably Catalan and Hull too.

So that only leaves, 4 places.
Huddersfield are probably well placed apart from crowds

So we are competing with Hull KR, Cas, Salford, Leigh, Fev, Toulouse for 3 places.

And that's assuming they don't want a new franchise.
So just getting a good league position is not enough.

OK, I'll help you out by re-phrasing it:

They cannot logically relegate 25% of the division, in a 12 team competition, where the team coming up would be worse than at least 2 of them, and where it would negate the contracts of up to 90 Super League players.

They haven't said this is happening, and certainly haven't given any criteria - but surely it has to be table standings!?

Anything other than than that (and that's divisive enough, when some clubs don't pay their rent, but pay big time Charlies'), would surely rip the game apart, not unite it.

They could go to franchising. I'd vote for that.
