I decided (my choice) to go and support my local - and I have to say that everything was in place and correctly adhered to by everyone.

Same here BG, the local Club had nailed it with the restrictions and great to catch up with mates. Very quiet really, about 50 people over the couple of hours we were there, a good natter about all things rugby

I think the vast majority of us are using common sense. Shopping, going to the pub and going to work are tasks we now undertake using a completely different set of rules to pre-covid days. Doesn't make for news though or click-bait on Twitter. Everyone just focuses on these individuals and groups of morons who think only of themselves. I think The Guardian has been the biggest culprit (after Tovarish Wizay of course).

Visited Wetherspoons at Garforth this afternoon. everybody seemed to be acting very civilised, and I've got to admit all their covid protection protocol seemed to be well thought out and being adhered to. pre- covid it was always packed on a Sunday, but everyone seemed safely spaced. Hope it's the same in all their outlets.

I blame all those misguided gullible folk who fell for that cuddly, lovable image in the first place. How naiive can people get? The one thing that got him there was the brexit ticket, by the time the next election comes around all that will be forgotten and, if, God forbid, the man is still in office, then all those that were "taken in" will have hopefully regained their sanity and vote for the party that will put the working class first.

It is very easy because they have been appalling which fortunately with the floods when he was at absent it impacted property. He then continued to be absent from the first five COBRA meetings sorting out his divorce and his fiancée baby shower. Then despite a warning on PPE in a 2016 review (report withheld) and two weeks during which it spread through Italy what did he do (go to a rugby match). He treated it like an influenza virus despite warnings from other countries. The problem this time was that it did not impact bricks and mortar but sadly people’s lives resulting in the U.K. having one of the highest excess death rates in the world. This is not something to be proud of and please don’t quote it would be worse under Corbyn because unless you can visit an alternative universe you don’t know and then hindsight because he received many warnings which he ignored.

Ah hindsight, a wonderful talent to have at your disposal.
