Tanginoa, Murphy and Whitbread would make a massive difference, others are no better than what will be playing on Sunday

I’d add Langi, Lyne to that too.

Squad injuries affect many things including training and preparation. As it stands if Croft isn’t fit we have 0 centres other than perhaps Law available. Lyne and Langi would be better options.

My point isn’t that some are better but that we have 8/9 unavailable for selection which is a common theme and disruptive.

I hope we do give young Law a chance though and I hope Langi is back too.

I’m really not a fan of playing players out of position but it seems a constant thing at trinity for many years under different coaches too.

We all have our own opinions but I have seen very little from Langi this season and just see him as another well past his sell by date

These players are only 30 or so and should be in their pomp but for whatever reason aren’t.

I’m I credibly disappointed with a few players in our squad tbh. I will still be there supporting them though if they wear the shirt and I hope the players find some form.

Lyne and Langi are the only two centres that we have. If they were fit i would pick them both in a heartbeat over anything else that i have seen so far.

Only other options that i can see might be Oli Pratt who looked ok on his one appearance, and possibly Dagger who does look to have pace but isnt providing anything at 1 or 6

I don't think Langi has been too bad personally. Yes he is on the decline, hence he is here in the first place, but we've had a lot worse performers than him this year.

Agree same with most of the players.Counted 7 players at M W that had played at Wakefield ,but had moved on to other S L teams , All looked far better players than for us .Wounder if this is down to been in a better drilled side ,or the poor coaches we have had at this club over the last years

Applegarth is the 6th coach we've had since the messiah took over 10 years ago.

Could there also maybe a case that players and coaches we've had may not have the respect of the man at the top

Hopefully a couple are back. Every year we seem to have the worst injury crisis in the league. We had this last year but luckily it cleared up for last run of games.

Does it really matter which 17 players we pick because they play to the same standard each game. I regret the comments by Kevin Brown are sadly accurate with regards the season. We are on course to be the worst team in SL history, not a legacy to be proud of but one they created.

You are, in fact, not yet on course to win even that dubious accolade. In 2021, Leigh lost their first SIXTEEN SL games before finally winning the 17th - they then won another (but only one).

Yes Leigh beat us for their first victory.

No they didn't. They beat Salford first and the were surprising winners against us in the penultimate game of our season as it was our only defeat in the last five games.

As long as we win before Round 23 then we won't hold that title, there could be others but London's 2014 season didn't see them pick up a victory until Round 24.

Hopefully this is about as low as we can get as a club on the playing side of things anyhow ,all records are there to be broken whether good or bad .Just wish the news were all waiting for will break asap and give us beleaguered fans a major boost ahead of the club spluttering headlong into the unknown at the end of the season .The new boss is obviously business savvy and surely will be looking at ways to offload the flotsam n jetsam that we have accumulated especially these last few seasons and bring in some quality and a winning culture to the club . We are so close but feel so far from a new dawn it’s almost tangible, but we’ve been here before and the thoughts of a last minute collapse in the take over isn’t worth contemplating ,and could quite possibly sound the death knell of our time in super league

People making a lot of assumptions about any new people coming in.
Could take them a long time to get up to speed on running a rugby club.
And before anyone says it can't be worse, yes it could. Need to give them time.

Might be like present board, good at business, but no nothing about what it takes to get a team that can perform on the pitch

It’s quite plain for all the see the state of the squad and their playing abilities or lack of it in some cases . It’s going to take some serious planning and money to get us back to an acceptable level on the field and probably off the field . When the ink has finally dried on the contracts , I don’t think anyone of us is under any illusions as to the mammoth task that lay ahead of them going forwards ,but the rebuild will start ,at what pace ,who knows but I’m willing to wait ,I’ve been doing that for 50 years

Blind pew can see who is and isn’t performing week in week out , I’m sure being an astute business man he wouldn’t take that gamble if he didn’t think he could do a decent job , and surely he will surround himself with quality staff who know the ropes .

Seeing it and knowing what to do about it are two very different things.

I seriously think it will take more than half a season to turn things around. We've dead wood in the squad off contract this year and also next.

It's more than just maybe a bit better quality in our halves and middles, which had been the case for the past 3-4 seasons, it's now within the whole squad that improvements are required.
