If Sunday is anything to go by he’s a cracking signing. Early days but you can see he’s got the quality.

I agree he looked busy and enthusiastic. It seems he will be sharing the 13 position with Crowther. Looks good to me, just needs to get his match fitness back.

I’m surprised he isn’t playing second row though and learning a new position but he went well at 13 and we have Ashurst, Tanginoa and Pitts who can play SR.

If he can give us a strong first 30 and a strong last 15/20 or so I’ll be happy with that.

It’s like everything in the modern game, what exactly is a 13 these days? He’s basically a ball handling middle and when what he’s doing doesn’t work Crowther will com on and do something different.

I don’t claim the tactical knowledge of a coach but I do know most positions are fluid these days.

I mean Whitbread, what is he, anything you want it seems. For me only Ashurst is an out and out SR the rest could do almost any role.

So Proctor to me is just Proctor the forward.

Except Ashurst has played centre and hooker. I think hes as versatile as the rest.
Proctor is a big intelligent player. He will be able to play anywhere. If 13 is the best fit then great, but Mash said he'll also play wide sometimes.

When did he play in those position! I don't recall. Unless it was some emergency on the pitch. New level of pedantry even for you.

Also as ever you have an astonishing ability to create your own narrative, I never said he couldn't or wasn't versatile, he's just so accomplished in the SR why would anyone not play him anywhere else.

There was a block of around 5 or 6 games a couple of seasons back where Crowther started at hooker and when he went off, Ashurst moved from SR to 9, he went quite well actually. It was at a time where we had no hookers fit, I can`t remember him playing centre though.

I like the idea of Proctor at 13, a loose naturally gets there hands on the ball a lot more than a SR, Proctor is such a quality player that I imagine we want him to have as much input as possible. Just re watched the game, I`m surprised at how slick Proctors ball handling skills are, something that he never really showed that much in the NRL from what I saw.

Noticed he was eager to interact with the kids in the crowd to talk and sign autographs, which is nice to see.

That calibre of player doesn't come over here very often and certainly not to Trinity these days.

Well I think in Proctor we have one. In fact a better playing career than Graham.

To be honest out of all the players interviewed on the Heritage podcast I didn’t warm to Graham, don’t know why.

Proctor out of all the signings looks really commited. He’s obviously way past his prime.

The source is a fan on FB, his partner as been with him all the time his kids are here for a holiday with his dad,i hope he stays think theres others who are worse yes hes not shat he was but he never was going to be plus lets try him in the postion he played on when winning NRLs and world cups

I think Proctor has done ok, the effort has clearly been there from him but for me we are playing him out of position. The guy has been one of the best 2nd rowers in the world in the past and by his own admission had never played middle before yet we have played him in the middle.

I tend to agree and I think they may have realised that, he's not a natural Middle and is better on the edges - I suspect that's why we are looking for a big player.

This Rumor seems to come from his social media post having dinner and a glass of wine in London over the weekend ,when after Fridays game the team would of had the weekend off - For us Australia's traveling couple of hours is nothing on a day- dont we want our overseas signings seeing the world other than staying in Wakey ? that would be a Seling point to sign players
