I can see Leeds turning us over tonight - we're so scratchy and lacking fluency, and despite the best squad in living memory on paper, we just don't deliver on anything like a consistent basis; Leeds on the other hand, despite a dreadful run, have talent, can remember how to win, and will have some kind of bounce-back after Uncle Bri's departure. It's a fairy tale script, and in these situations, we are often the willing plot vehicle to ensure that everyone lives happily ever after.

More doom and gloom - and I'd be very happy to be proved wrong.

Their form has been dog for the last two months and some on here think they are going to turn into the Saints tonight.

Granted, we haven't been playing that well - but we have been winning games and on current form should beat them tonight - and I think we will.

I think the point that 'some posters' are making is that we don't really have a 'current form' - we're up and down like a bride's nightie - which throws the form book out the window. Leeds may have a lot of their missing players back, but how long since they played?? Given what everyone has seen and said of Leeds over last couple of months and how they are struggling with fitness does anyone believe that these returning players will be up to full speed straight away?
We have been very hit and miss but all of our players have got some match fitness under their belts.

I don't see an easy game but if we can hold them for the first 30 mins then we should be able to go on and win the game. I'll be there cheering the boys on and hoping to be proved right.

If the Trinity we know show up, we will hammer this side but with the names they've got back for tonight I can easily see a Leeds win.

Widnes and Salford won't be easy for Leeds if we blow it, as both will want form for the Middle 8's.

It's such a shame that we fans can't depend on Wakey turning up If they play like they have been we have no chance but if they play like they can we'll win. we should never have been in this position. If CC can't motivate the boy for tonight he might as well go because it's the most important game of the season.

It’s not always about being able to motivate someone. Tactical awareness and game planning are just as important if not more so.
Against a good team, which despite current form Leeds are, you need to be showing the correct look in all three phases of the game.

You also need to be willing to change the game plan if it’s not working. The lads can’t be looking up at the flats and seeing the boss with a blank expression. Leadership in adversity is crucial at every level at the club.

None of the fans know what goes on in training, the fitness of the players, their state of mind or, why Chester makes the team selections that he does but, some fans have very short memories, very short indeed.
Apart from the odd couple of games, Trinity have been competitive in every match and have won a reasonable share and we're still in with a chance of finishing the season well.
Everyone is disappointed that we haven't secured a top 8 spot yet but, I'll take the last 3 seasons over the previous 3 all day long and to question Chester because we didn't beat Huddersfield or Catalan both who are in excellent form is just daft.
