| Took quite a few tacklers to halt him at times. The lad was trying too hard. From what I saw in an extremely difficult debut scenario there is pace, aggression and signs of off load game. Think he will go well.Certainly idiotic of some to write him off after one game.

| Trevor Skerrett wasn't bad, at least that was the consensus at the time, only saw him play once and that was 40 years ago....lol
So it does seem like a long time since we had a proper bowling ball.
Shelford was fair to be honest, his knees were knacked by the time he came to Wakey though.
I can't believe I'm looking at Nigel Bell as a possible last stand out player....at....prop ! , that's a measure of the lack of memorable props we've had at wakey over the years, one from 40 years ago and one that wasn't even a prop :/

| Maybe nobody broke their jaw then, and somebody's made it up for a laugh.

| Looks like he could be a real handful when fully fit, still put in some big minutes though. Probably got a little bit kiddy, trying too hard to impress which cost a few silly penalties. But since when do you see a sin binning for dropping/throwing the ball on the opposition player after winning a penalty? Wasn't the right reaction from him, but an over reaction from Child also. Look like he'll bring some much needed aggression but just needs to tone it down a notch if it's going to keep getting us penalized.

| i thought once he settled down and concentrated on running the ball in hard and straight he was a definite handfull for them, Althouugh the run he did to take the ball in from the tap near the end was perhaps the biggest run up iv ever seen he nearly overan the guy taking the tap.
