There's nothing wrong with wanting to know - we all do; there probably is something wrong with being obtuse about it when the majority of the forward momentum on the project has been down to the hard work and tenacity of a few unpaid maniacs.

The down side of these forums is that people don't think before they type... Most who comment negatively or dissmisively about these things would, I suggest, not have the acumen, ability, desire, patience or fortitude to get a project like this started, never mind to a point as near to conclusion as it has reached.

As my honourably Vast colleague states, these things are a massive draw on personal resource, often given with no expectation if thanks or kudos. For those who are genuinely interested the information is in public domain... Just look for it!

Whining about the lack of information is pathetic... It's all out there.and if you want to be on the inner, get involved and give of yourself.

Get out from behind the computer and find out what you can do to support the renaissance.

I can't remember being called a maniac before - and not objecting!

I genuinely don't mind anyone being frustrated by this process - it's not the type of situation most of us will ever come across in any other form in our lives. The only thing I can think of in life that takes more time is raising a family!

Each and every stadium project is unique. Some have happened quicker than ours, others have taken longer. Ours still has a way to go, but with nothing happening publicly, it's easy to think that it's died a death -it hasn't. What we do have is new management and a new perspective, also complicated by the mess that needed sorting out at the club.

You won't find me getting irritated by anyone asking the question. We were formed to create a political movement to assist the club and we remain here to do so - until the job is complete! I will continue to answer what questions I can and the others who work with me will back me up when they can, including IA who is very busy but still very keen to keep going.

Remember, this process was just a galvanising of your support. In no other situation has this club worked harder together than in compiling the petition. Those were good days and I was privileged to be involved. That effort deserves some results. Onwards and upwards!

Get yer finger out and get it sorted, if not we'll replace you.

I do not think asking politely for stadium updates is out of order.
I, for one, appreciate the tremendous amount of effort that has got us so far.I get asked as to what progress is being made by supporters who do not read forums or access the web too often.
Therefore is it out of order if I pass on concerns and questions to those more able to answer?

Is it just me or do half the people on this forum seem to work fo the club o know them? I feel such an outsider just being a plain old memeber of the public.

Don't think anyone on here works for the club and the Stadium guys have been around for years.

Also what do you claim is 'not going to happen'... The development as a whole or the stadium, whose building is attached by law to the development?

I've heard updates on the stadium from this source well before ay announcements have been officially made (and he's a 50 year wakey fan) ...the lastest one I was told over a pint pot full of tears was that it's not going forward.

Wakefield are already pricing up a brand new stand at Belle Vue (long stand) which has been quoted at 5mil.

Lets assume what you've heard is accurate, which part isn't going to happen? The stadium or the whole development? It's not inconceivable that a lack of funds would derail the stadium aspect, but without that the rest of the scheme can not go ahead.
