Did you ever see her choking on live TV? Instead of reaching for a glass of water and saying 'excuse me' then giving a hearty cough she continued on, face getting redder...

| i am not a big sinfield fan, but i thought he was a real leader today for the leeds team. he was totally switched on and was at the centre of all the good things leeds did. a lot of the stuff he did wil prob go un-noticed. but he did lead them well today.
as mentioned above, ironic that leeds lost to a forward pass!! we feel like that most weeks.

| Just got back had a great day one of the best finals I have seen in a long time.Burrows was outstanding and turned the game back towards Leeds, who had Wigan rocking but were never able to get the score they needed. Think in the end the best team won but not a lot in it.Hope they are jiggered for Friday night just to round off a cracking week.

Don't get me wrong - I hate Leeds as much as the next man, but when it comes to the CC final, I'd rather see it won by good rugby than by incompetent refereeing.

The second Leeds try was put down after 3 forward passes, tit for tat IMHO, and well done to the goons, loved every minute of it.

| Wigan deserved the win despite the forward pass for Lima's second which for me was the only contentious decision. Burrow hit the deck to shepherd the ball out he made contact with the ball making a play at it which then hit Charnely who in my opinion did not make a play at it.
Abblett did not play the ball correctly in the momentum swinging tackle that changed the game for Leeds.
Swings and roundabouts.
Not a classic final but fairly exciting the completion rates highlight the average quality of the game.
The Tomkins try was one of the classics Cup final tries.
Still sadly feel Wire will take the Championship home with them, especially if Wigan continue to give McIllorum so much game time.

Agree totally Jonh althugh has i have posted on here elsewhere, even if the ball to Lima was slightly forward (i didn't think so) why don't people point to both Abllet's and Bailey's pathetic attempt at tackling him.

Cant believe that Mcdermott has turned Burrow into an impact playar and not an 80min SH.
Leeds are much better with him on the field.

| Couldn't believe the number of empty seats yesterday, for two of the best supported teams in the league.
Sign of the times I suppose.

watched the game again today thinking I had missed more the first time I watched it.
pleased to say my opinions of the game hadn't changed, wigan was just the better side on the day
the Sam Tomkins saga will en-devour to roll on now through the coming weeks and I fear will escalate further if he keeps up with this childish acts, he even made an attempt to pat JJB on the back after being pushed into touch in the tackle

| imho wigan were the better team on the day but the scrum to wigan which came off the wigan player in to touch..the spear on delaney..the forward pass... leeds were unlucky for the very poor decisions on the day...and the try ??? to me he lost control over the line which was great defence...same as we normally are on the receiving end against leeds ...doesn't make it any better tho! the sooner we see decent officials the better!

I do not mind players giving each other a sarcastic tap on the back or a word in their ear when they mess up, its part of the game. Disrespecting officials and fans though is not acceptable or professional, the Tomkins flicking of the v's was very immature. He seems to have a pretty level head when interviewed and I hope he learns from it.
There is a win at all costs mentality and a mentality of stupidity. I applaud the first despise the second. Hopefully Tomkins will learn from his actions, the club have acted quickly to hopefully draw a line under the incident.

Think the scrum decision was the correct call. Burrow goes down to the ground to shepherd the ball into touch and makes contact, it is a deliberate play at the ball, it does hit charnley last but it is off the ricochet from Burrow not a deliberate play.
Leeds had a try off a forward pass, and the lack of penalty for the Ablett play the ball which nearly swung the game was as crucial a decision or lack of as any.
Game went pretty much as I expected Wigan do not enjoy Leeds style and I hope we do not meet them again as I think they will beat us at some point this year.

Fined the player and issued a formal apology to the Leeds club and fans.....as has Tomkins.
Given this kind of thing has been happening a lot lately and it generally gets ignored by the clubs involved, a classy move.

| and every wigan play the ball was played correctly using the foot leeds forward pass...at least there appeared to be a backward movement with the shoulders facing the correct way whereas the wigan forward pass was deliberate ie....shoulders facing forward...as for the charnley contact..what exactly was he doing there with no intention to play at the ball??
