He's a slightly tedious bloke who has a go at players endlessly and he's pretty dull with it but his mates laugh along with him which makes him feel he's a real wit. That said Beans should rise above it, he really should - I know it's hard but that's the job.

In which case, we should make our mind up as to whether we wish to keep the pretence about 'not being tolerated'. If a supporter used that language towards a steward he would be removed from the ground.

he'd have been better saying nowt than putting a statement out that by implication is having a go at the people he had a go at yesterday.

Bad language is an everyday occurrence unfortunately, even on here people cannot respond without fluffing and cuffing, bypassing the swear filter. Its called industrial language so long as nothing personal is said, although I was not behind the dugout I would bet that all Broadbent did was answer back in the same vane as he received it.

why the eye roll. he should have just said "what i did was unacceptable" and left it at that. instead he tried to justify it, and then preached to us all (including himself) about how we should behave.

all in all, it doesn't matter. he'll follow kear out of the door anyway.

Because it's over, an apology is enough for me and I can't see how he could have worded it better. As someone else said it's the least of our problems and time to move on. I say leave it, you may say it differently.

Its pretty obvious that whatever he said you'd have found fault, you seem like the type to find fault.

At the end of the day if those who were affected at the game are happy with it then its fair enough for me, it should not have happened granted but hell my clubs going down the pan and this is a minor incident in the grand scheme of things.

Mistakes happen, he's owned up to and is prepared to accept he was at fault and could have acted differently. In my opinion, that draws a line under it and we all move it.

Heard absolutely everything that went on ... Couldnt believe that Broadbent acted that way BUT can totally understand it ... Hes had enough of the performances and the pressure is on ... He also takes a lot of the flack being so close to the sidelines whilst Kear sits in his comfy box and gets away with it ... Broadbent finally blow his top and will be probably better for it ... Move on as far as im concerned ...
