Reportedly signed for cas on 85k a year! Crazy money if so. Don’t always agree with clubs decisions but I wouldn’t be paying him anywhere near that amount. I like the lad hes a grafter and rarely lets you down but he’s not a game changer. Did right not allowing him to go to cas early. Just hope it’s not one of those weird transfer merry go rounds whereby he joins wire then they release him to go to cas.

I’d value him between 45k-50k max. Good luck to the lad if he’s got more and especially if he’s got much more it’s a short career and can’t blame him for taking the money. However should cas go down then he’s screwed and signing for your relegation rivals mid season show me that he had no confidence in the club surviving that could really come back and bit him on the backside now. I hope it does, not in any way shape or form is that anything against the lad but it means we stay up and cas go down which is what we all want on here. He’s been a great servant and always given 100% but he’s not a game changing player and he’s certainly not irreplaceable. If possible I’d have kept him over some of our aging players but certainly not at that price tag that’s been reported.

He’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
Some Coaches will see him as a great fit within their team and will value the attributes he brings because they maybe attributes that are badly required. Another Coach may not need what Jordan brings and would therefore value him less or not want him at all.

He’s an Academy product and thus has probably suffered lower wages for quite some time, so if he can move elsewhere and secure a solid salary then I’m happy for him.
