To me something had to be sacrificed and the angle would of improved the viewing if it was higher up, on a down side it would darkened the lower tier and extra lighting would of been needed excess could of lead to the bar area and toilets, don't know how they get away without cover tho with supporters directly above

It will be ok in good weather but very interesting in the wet.

I think if we’d been going great guns and started after the Cas game as initially hoped they may have taken a different route.

However most ST holders like me have written this season off and poor viewing angles and getting wet are not a real concern. There is nothing worse watching and if it rains I’ll stay at home.

As a Trin fan I’ve been happy to see most seasons end ASAP but never more than this one.

Been sat in them today at the reserve game - not bad tbh.

Typical of our luck at the moment with poor weather for them in the new temporary south stand seating. Anyone on here use the temporary seating?

I was on front row of flats so charted to some in the seats.
They liked them, apart from them being wet. It was very wet.

I was sat in the seats. Cannot describe how wet I got. Came home and had to remove all clothing and towel dry. Not a pleasant experience. God knows what it's going to be like in the winter. Pay top price for seating and get the wettest in the ground!

Good job we only play a month or so in the winter. Seats look great really complete that end of the ground. Sadly not the best weather to be sat without cover.

Need some cover, won't be going again if it's raining!

I would imagine that also not a good place to be in hot sunny weather.

Don't know if things already in place but anyone sat there should certainly have free access to Fox's bar to escape the elements.

A couple of problems 1) not enough capacity and 2) we don’t do free.

Not really much help, need to sit down, can't stand.

Not ideal in inclement weather ,but needs must , and if the end product is a shiny new stand I feel the odd soggy clothing or sunburn will be a sacrifice worth making in the long run.Personally if physically able and looking at the forecast I’d have plumped for the North stand . A win today would have made those wet clothes a more palatable experience.

So if not physically able we have to settle for getting soaked when it rains. I wasn't the only one not happy, most near me were extremely unhappy.

Anybody sat there today has my sympathy. I remember going to HKR in their uncovered seats on a day like today. Their jobs worth stewards wouldnt even let you stand up and the were handing out packa macs. I would also be a little concerned about something a bit more damaging than rain comming down from the boxes above.

I was thinking to myself if I'd have paid for a season ticket in the seating stand I'd be pretty annoyed.

My son, his mate and myself upgraded to Fox's bar. Drinks were not allowed on balcony and strictly monitored.

I sent an email to the club last night after I had finally dried out. I explained that I would not use those seats again if there was a possibility of rain on game day, therefore would I be able to use my seated pass to enter the North Stand. I received a respectful reply from MC this morning advising me I can use the seated pass but advised to arrive early due to restricted capacity of 1500. It seemed to me there was no where near 1500 in the North Stand yesterday, and if there was, the it was only one third full. I have no complaints re the new seating, I think they are more than adequate on dry days, and no problem with the view of the pitch. It’s a long time since I’ve watched a game from behind those posts.

Unfortunately I won't be able to do the transfer, can't stand and to uo-grade to Fox bar doesn't give you a seat where you can see pitch

Is the tv gantry/ commentary box relocating to new East Stand when completed.

Wouldn't have thought so. Have the side located behind the TV camera not in front of it. Its bad enough St Helen posting ty pictures of the ground on Twitter without us purposely showing it off to the TV world.
