I'll be there, but I don't expect anything other than a scene of carnage; Wigan are absolutely rampant at the moment and their systems and structures are such that they can slot 3 or 4 kids into the 1st team, and whilst they may not have the physical and mental toughness of some of their more experienced colleagues, they do know exactly what to do and when to do it - clearly, the youth and 1st team training regimes are very closely aligned. They are outstanding and at present, we simply cannot compete.

I'm rather baffled by anyone suggesting that they'll turn their back on the team; although the nature of the two recent defeats is dispiriting, it hardly signals the beginning of the end; just a slump in form for a team that has, at times, punched significantly above its weight.

Stuck a tonne on Wigan -16. At least if we have to watch it, might as well profit from it

Not sure what to do about the hooker situation tbh.

I understand that we need to develop our youngsters but why throw them in at the deep end against the top side in the country? The onus should be on those that played last week that are fit to play this week and show some pride in their shirt not give them a week off. Annakin should be starting in the second row/loose. Can't see Lynne dropped when he was talked up after the game last week by Agar. No mention of other loan players recalled other than Mariano. Start with your form props so Tauiti/Amor/Poore not Raleigh and Wilkes as Wigan will dominate from the whistle if so.

Playing players out of position has been hugely detrimental to performance this season. I have tried to slot players in natural positions. Wildie has done a reasonable job before at SH and offers more def than wood.

Walshaw I put in second row first to soak up some tough defending on the flanks early doors. Maskill is a real number 9 and looks like he has the skills so why not give him a crack.

Time for a few changes I think. Goulding/Maskill are the only real youngsters with little SL experience so it's not as if we'd be throwing 4/5 in there.

I personally think he has a lot more positives than negatives.

He fits in fine in our team of 'perenial bottom feeders'
