I would be happier with Lino and Hampshire at halfback.

Hampshire has spent a year in Wigan playing reserves at halfback and they won the reserves league. I’m sure he will have been working on his halfback play.

I would be happy with us signing Hampshire and he would certainly get game time and offer versitality and some pace down middle channels.

Hampshire at full back with Lino and Jowitt in the halves might work better.

Nothing works better than having Jowitt at full back.

We shouldn't need to start playing people out of position.

You've just said Hampshire and Lino in the halves would be chaotic! If you'd choose your pivots from those three then, how would you play them?

Hampshire's ship has sailed for me, he had his chance but failed to kick on to the next level IMO and as other's have said he is not an organiser.
I believe ME mentioned marquee signings at some point, so hopefully a quality organising half-back will fill that void if we are to be serious about our intentions in 2024

I wouldn't because if I signed Hampshire and that's a big if, he would be backup to Jowitt at fb or Lino at half, with either Gale or a different organising player.

Yep, as whole hearted as they come. We’ve had a lot worse props than Eddie thats for sure. I wish him well.

So far so good on our signings.

To say Fev are cutting costs their signings suggest the opposite.

Reynolds, Minikin and Addy are 3 good signings who to be honest I’d have been happy with.

I believe they are doing what we are. Working from a blank slate and likely going to build strong on the quiet side.

They will likely be our main competitors along with Toulouse.

I am looking forward to seeing our next lot of signings and hopefully we have some quality coming in with pace on edge, quality in the spine (HB or LF) and a big strong forward.

But have Fev paid last month's players wages yet?

Currently and i know things will/may change but i look at the squads in the championship and think fev bulls halifax toulouse and york are as strong as us if not stronger.

Fev are losing players like Dean Kopczak Taylor
York I can't see a player I'd want to sign for our team except Dagger
Bradford have Gaskill and Taufua

Who are you picking out in their squads as their stars?

And who you picking out of the Wakefield squad who are stars.also i said currently as i know players will be brought in but we have no cover in 1,6,7 for a start light on props no pace on wings.

I'm only asking as you said their squads are stronger. I thought you knew their players, which I don't.

If you only meant they have more cover then as we've only signed 18 players I agree with you. I just thought you were saying you had more insight than that.
