Looks like his contract is up at the end of next year. I’ve no doubt he will have a number of teams chasing his signature for 2022.

We've been a gimme for every other team for just about every game in the last 30. Beyond a joke now, we need fresh ideas, a new approach, even the Trinity spirit has gone.

Eddie Battye won't be with us long, he's too good and that's after not playing for 6 months!

What I saw today was a group of players not a team and definitely not one supporting each other. There is something desperately wrong at the club, we see dummy halves waving their hands for instructions on what play we are suppose to be doing. We have high kicks going up, unfortunately nobody can be bothered to follow them to put pressure on the catcher. The worst is we give their playmaker so much room it’s not a surprise we are cut to ribbons.
If we keep playing like this the empty stadiums will be good practice for the home games next season.

Clueless. Sezer has more ability in a finger than our half backs combined, although they did rotate on the wings most of the game but are not in the same league anyway.

Handling - lamentable
Defence structure - there isnt one
Game control - we obviously dont see this as important
Enthusiasm - have seen people rung harder for a bus

I can forgive somethings after all the coach doesn't drop the ball or put a high tackle in - but our set plays are non existent, our last tackle plays are from the stanley rangers under 9 s play book.

Our forwards are powder puff, our two most creative players were battye and westerman - gigot, hampshire can't break wind (i ll let bailey off as he's a kid),

But apart from that, we were brilliant!

How many times have we seen a player join the club have a spectacular first and second game only then to descend into the current Wakefield way coached by Chester.
If he goes back to London he will go back worse than when he came.

I know it’s tragic when a player who has only played one season of SL and hasn’t played again since being relegated looks a class above players who have spent years in SL. You’d think they would be ashamed but it appears not. His appearance made no difference whatsoever to the team as a whole, what a waste.

Having very much been sat on the fence re Chester this season, I am sorry to say that I am quickly running out of excuses for him. No matter what team we put out on the park, we look clueless and that is the worrying thing.

The worrying thing is we are something like 24 losses from 29 games with a few of those results being embarrassing blowouts and almost all being inept, soul sucking, uninspiring performances.

That’s 8 to 10 competition points over a full season which would 100% bring relegation had it been a single season rather than split over 2.

Yet we still have supporters who think we should go into next season with little to nothing changed and Chester still in charge! I for one do not want to take that gamble and think we should change now!

We do have some good players but they’re very badly coached & conditioned, get a new regime in and give them 4 or 5 games and a full closed season to get them fit and organised.
Let’s give ourselves a chance of being better next season

My fear is this, we will blame David Fifita for being unreasonable when we really don’t know what’s gone on. We will play Academy lads because it goes down well with the fans to give youngsters a go and it’s a ready made excuse when we lose games and allows Carter to justify keeping Chester. We will blame injuries when on analysis we have had a decent first 13 or 17 to field in nearly every game. We’ll blame Covid-19 disruption when every club is dealing with exactly the same or worse. Oh and this season means nothing anyway!

Well his recent post match comments sounds like a man waiting for the sack.

Game over for him. Lovely bloke but in the cold light of day, it's a business and his workers are not responding. We haven't a half back capable of breaking the line with a smart play and that is key to 2021.

the worrying thing is how is it going to be stopped we have an ageing team/pack of forwards nearly all over 30 and under contract, for me we need someone who can be trusted on recruitment and we sell fafita, tj or bill to get a competitive team together. It might be the only way
