Why can't we leave everything football up to the people in the know. It's totally amazing how the everyday fan at Wake knows the ins and outs of every contract regarding clauses, and am mounts. It total crap what some say they know . Financial advise can always be found and Mr Carter must have learned a great deal from the great detail provided by some.
Then the guy who knows everything about everything and loves to share all in knowledge with the rest of us. His expertise even extends to diet and training methods.

people seem to forget he was a representative class player when he left cas to go to hull it didnt work out after a bad injury we have made a commitment to him and with a good pre season fingers crossed under his belt he may proove many on here wrong

I think we have every right to question after last years garbage we served up. Brian Smith does not walk on GOLD every decision he does should not be a given its correct. The fans have every right to question this bit of business. Whats next Reece Lynn on a 5year deal?

Because if he delivers what they think he can then he would be off after a year to a bigger club but with a 2 year deal he's ours unless someone wants to stump up the cash. If he doesnt deliver then thats the gamble.
I'm not too inspired by the signing given his previous performances but would love to be proven wrong

Didn't seem like he could be d for the majority of the season, seemed to improve under Smith but still didn't really do anything spectacular. Hopefully he'll repay us by finding some the form of his earlier years.

Don't think he'll be on megabucks but he's ok. Solid enough. Obviously if we are wanting to progress then we are gonna need better but as a squadman, not bad.

Well Big Joe is 6ft 2 and 14st 11. Ritchie Owen is 6ft and 15st 2.

I think that if all the players signed a one year contract we would be back to forming a new squad at the end of next season again.
You will never get every supporter to agree on the ability of every single player and that's why I'm prepared to leave it to the people in the know. The same people by the way who have to stand and take responsibility for the signings they make.
Once again the coaches on the forum know better it's a complete joke.
Just as a matter of on trestle maybe someone in the know could print a list of the players we have signed and all the contract details. What's the budget.
One thing I have no doubt about is the players who take to the field like them or not will perform and improve through out the season. Brian Smith may not be gold but he will assemble a squad to compete and one he's got faith in.

Arundal seemed to have put some timber on, didn't seem a svelte like when he first went to Hull.
Let's hope a full pre season for the first time in 3 years will get him back to prove noise he showed at Cas and made Hull make a move for him.
On a different note, one player I wouldn't mind from Hull is Jordan Thompson.

A plank of wood you say. I understand he is very poplar with his team mates, and goes under the nan of walnut because he's a hard nut to cracking. . I think he will make a good pear ING. Some say he's the cherry on the cake while others would prefer if he was a little alder. Just hope he can stay and not pine for Cas.
