as i said in edit 95%, chan is better than Kirmond. Eden will go the same way as mcnally. wont get a chance due to murphy and Grix infornt of him and a huge talent will be wasted for 2 years. I got over Andy being treated like a dick a long time ago, as did he, all i'll say is that repercussions of treating people the way they have has not finished yet, i'm sure.

better cover than wood was for us anyway.. not going to push lunt, robinson, brown or brough out for a first team spot, but who knows with nathan browns coaching he might improve.

At the end of the day, we are a club that is trying to rebuild from scratch! Let's see what happens, I'm just looking for some progress. Yes it would have been a bit more fair on Lee if he'd played his prefered position but that was the nature of the beast last season.

Let's try to be positive, I think we're putting a fairly good squad together for next season.

I think we've put together a decent squad from nothing, a halfback and a prop and we'll nearly be there. I fancy a top eight finish

As for top 8 lets get real on paper the three quarters look ok but we have nothing yet at halfback and the front row needs more than one prop

He's the guy i'm most looking forward to seeing in a Trin shirt so far.

I am suprised at the negativity regarding Kirmond signing.

When he was on loan with us he actually was the one who looked to give a in many matches. Some my of argued that was because he was using us as a springboard to get back into the shudds line up at the end of the year, but I think he generally enjoyed it at Wakefield and he made that more than clear on the field.

My own ambivalence towards his signing is based more on the total lack of interest he showed during the latter half of the season for Shudds, when they had Broughy out, couldn't buy a win and really needed some players to dig in and stop the rot.

Maybe he'll re-find the form he had whilst on loan with us, in which case I'll happily eat my words.

You could aim that at any number of players in the last 1/3 of the season to be fair, wasnt pretty watching at times.

It was for me!



You do seem to have a problem though in term of sustaining early season momentum - is it a fitness or conditioning thing I wonder, or maybe the annual 'will he, won't he?' circus that surrounds your Harry Hill collar wearing head coach has an effect on the players morale and commitment?

Either way, it must be frustrating to watch all that money run out on the pitch each week and at the end of the season, achieve nowt, not least for your very own Mr Burns.

I'll bet its frustrating for every club that pay full cap and win nothing.

Giants need a new main man if they want to now win things.

wakefield will do well to finish above 12th next season.
