I can't remember ever shutting a rumour of new signings down. I still roll my eyes if someone suggests something ridiculous but that doesn't mean it's wrong.
Rumour of issues at the club or issues around an existing player. Very different thing.

And worth making clear. I don't 'shut down' a rumour. I only add my opinion. You are welcome to yours.
But as a mod, if something is posted about real people whether club official, player or supporter that is maliciously intended, I'll have to make a judgement call and if no proof, I'll probably shut it down.

Also, a few people asked about the rumours thread. Wasn't my idea but I did think it was a good one.

And if Vastman has changed his name who seriously cares? Some people invest far too much time in thinking about others and things that in no way affect them.

I genuinely could not care less If you or others post under 1 or 20 usernames.

I did say on my long wish list post that it’s what I would like and it was just a pie in the sky. It’s nothing for anyone to get bent out of shape about.

It would be good however to see a few of them sign up and I do think there’s a few realistic targets in there and some who would be quality signings whether we are championship or not.

With a lot of SL clubs quota spots already taken up hopefully we can pull off some decent coups from down under. If we can compete financially and channel through our vision of returning next year then it could be appealing.

To clarify the AUP.

Nothing to stop anyone changing their user name. You'll be judged on what you post.
But if you break the AUP, the ban would apply to all your names.

Not good to accuse someone of being a different user though. Especially if they have said not.

He’s got the ability to go very far in the game as he develops.

Expect him to get a good few games next year and then hopefully a couple of years in SL will see him really kick on.

Yes, very weak at half. Gale not the player he was, Lino largely ineffective. Hopefully the drop in level will mean better things from them but there needs to be some competition for places.

As you said in your OG post, don't take it all too seriously and this is the place to dream about any exciting signing outy there we could potentially make if there is a place. ATEOTD I'd be massively surprised if we signed most of who was mentioned but it wouldn't surprise me if we pulled a couple of rabbits out of the hat. Leigh managed to make some eye-opening signings in the Champ so why not us as well? If anyone's got us ahead of ourselves and maybe picking guys that won't come down to the camp and dreaming about money to spend. Talk of an SL team in waiting etc, it's the new owner, and what he's said he's gonna do this next season which has got people really giddy, which is exactly what we need after last season in particular.

I dont know what budget ME is planning to invest in the club on a yearly basis, and what part is for players, but a few days ago, I looked on companies house again at DIY Kitchens, and compared them to the company Derek Beaumont owns, and revenue wise. DiY are much bigger, in terms of revenue

Got to agree ,We must be near the bottom of rugby league teams that do not see pace as a important part at 6 and 7 throw Hood in at 9 and it is a worry, Good thing is we are in the Championship so games should be slower ,but needs sorting out if we make it back to S L
