Welcome aboard Joe. An improvement to the team, with plenty of experience and quality - he's also recovered well after his knee injury as well.

Good signing. If we can keep him injury free and he can continue his form from FC (from what I’ve seen) he’ll be a great asset. Has a decent offload game too which is something we don’t do enough of.

Useful addition to the medical team too, seeing as he is an expert at fixing dislocated knee-caps

Well he made 32 offloads last year. Maybe he did them in the few games you missed!!

Just going on what I’ve seen. He’s been a handful based on the FC games I’ve watched. Just hope we can keep him injury free.

That is only 1.5 per game so actually not that great but I hope he shows his Castleford form.

I bet its more than most of our team apart from Fifita.

I know he does not have much to beat but 1.5 in a ball handling team like Hull is a lot easier than the style we have started to play.

his early season form was very good, since he had that knee coming out on TV he hasn't been the same, put a bit of timber on to, if you can get him fit hes a good signing for you guys,

It’s an ok signing for me.

A few years ago he’d have been considered a major signing with huge level of expectation. Now he’s just another player brought in to bolster a position we are already fairly strong in. He’s no longer a key signing for any club so pressure off which I think is a good thing in his case.

His biggest asset is experience and a level of versatility, I think his weaknesses are fairly well known, fitness probably our biggest concern.

Still a young buck with plenty to offer ,can’t beat that experience he’ll bring to the club ,and hopefully the team will be that bit more competitive with this signing .

Trust me my reasoning is completely different to yours. You seem to think Trinity has a ‘mediocre’ squad whose main aim is to avoid relegation and be mid table fodder as you continually state.

I don’t think that, I think we have plenty of quality but we totally underperformed last season even taking injuries into account.

Even without knowing the final team line up for 2020 I feel we are even stronger injuries permitting. This means that a player who would have been a huge signing 3-4 years ago is now just an addition, something I find very heartening.

Please don’t include me in your glass half empty routine, I’m a positive thinker at the start of a season, I don’t see any point in not being. To see your team as beaten before a game is played is the calling card of a loser in my book, sorry but that’s how I see it.
