Kieron Purtill is the only one I know of without a club, what makes you think he’ll do a better job?

Any other coach at any other team with that record would be gone. I can’t see any changes in results to be honest.

Poor performance after poor performance, suffering the same structural disorganisation in both attack & defence after 5 years with largely the same group of players.

I’d suggest Anthony Griffin, he’s unattached at the moment and has a win record of around 58% in the NRL but we’d have to show a level of ambition that hasn’t been see at Wakey for a decade and a half

Problem any potential new coach would have is they’ve still only got the same squad...it’s not as if they could make big changes. Yes, we’ve lost another game but not through the lack of trying. Where is the sentiment that give the young lads a chance and put everything in and we’ll be happy whatever the result?

I don’t see any indication that Chester has ‘lost’ the dressing room....as far as I can see every player who’s taking to the field is giving their all. Tonight was just individual errors that cost us and at time’s where better execution was needed...there was at least 3 or 4 occasions where all it needed was a simple pass for a walk in try...we could easily have won with a bit better execution and maybe a little more luck...

2015 was one of the worst seasons I have seen but this is panning out just the same. We scraped that in the million pound game and will survive because of p & r being removed.

my choice would be ward and Langley and what job is Chester actually doing apart from overseeing defeat after defeat, the bloke in the chippy or local shop could oversee that.

tonight again we got done by the officials. Give the kids a chance
he did that let Kelepi run out wide he did that, we created lots of chances
but unfortunately they didn't all come off. We were unlucky not to
get the result and I'm gutted and so will Chester be so please start

im astounded the way he’s got rocky playing he’s one of our most dangerous attacking players with pace to burn who can make breaks and he just passes on and never runs with this ball, the whole organisation of our game plan is utter garbage, I’ve noticed the comments on max running lynn out it’s not the full backs it starts from the play at dummy half the first receiver is always sideways it’s same when rocky plays there to create space you’ve got to be prospered to play straight and take it to the line and get smacked

we lost simple as we’ve won about 5 from 27 it’s simply not good enough, it’s become the normal

The main reason we survived in 2015 was because we ad a lot better coach who brought his own conditioner in We will not survive next season unless coaches call it a day

I admire your sentiment towards the coach but I agree with Avenger, we're limping along getting beaten every week, hoping everything comes off but it never does. A different excuse every week - injuries, the other team spent more on the squad, young lads playing, video ref's fault, bounce of the ball, the ref's fault, etc etc etc... I like the guy but it's not happening is it? 5 wins in 20 odd tells its own story despite whoever has played in that time. I just don't see performances hitting the standards Chester set when he first arrived - or anything near to it and that has been in my thoughts since the second half of last season.
