It has to be said that Salford are looking like a completely different team for next season; they appear to be doing exactly what we all want WTW to be doing; making confident, quality signings for 2011, in the lead-up to franchise applications.

Having said that, after browsing their forum there seems to be some strong opinions about inept non-playing functions, such as marketing and PR for example, which look as amateurish and half-d as our own.

It'll be interesting to watch how they go next season.

I like Salford personally, similar team to us. People slag the willows but I think its a cracking little ground. i echo the good luck to em, cant help feel they might be better off if it wasn't Macrae in charge of the new signings like.

I haven't missed many away games, but I didn't go to this one and I'm glad I didn't; sounds like we ended an abject season on a whimper, which seems fitting.

Agreed - if we'd announced these signings and were looking forward to moving into a new ground there'd be no-one on here saying they weren't renewing s/tickets etc.
Instead we've announced nothing and the new ground is far from nailed on.
