Why are Hull charging more for the away stand? - Surely they should be charging less, to get more fans in?



We also sit at Widnes, Huddersfield & Saints, and they're a lot cheaper than Hull.

In this day and age, I'm surprised that it's allowed, tbh. Unless there's some kind of membership scheme in operation for all Hull supporters, regardless of whether or not they're season ticket holders, why should away fans pay more? Does this happen at other grounds?`

£25 for adults, £19 for concessions & £14 for Juniors + Then the transport on the top... Really can't see there being a lot of away supporters travelling to Hull this season!

Assuming Hull fans pay less, and that away fans are obliged to sit in a certain area of the ground, the point is whether or not the Hull club are entitled to charge away fans more for attending, and basically "enjoying" the same facilities, unless there's some sort of qualitative difference. At the very least, it should be an issue the club(s) take(s) up with the RFL.

The thing is, there is no segregation at the KC either. If you were to attend a Hull derby game(not that you would have any reason to) you would find HKR fans sat in all unreserved sections of the stadium.
Most away fans tend to sit together in the North stand, but there is no rule to say you have to.

It's a con and for that reason, I'm out; it'll be the Big Fellas stadium for me, to watch Fev vs Batley.

Does this mean they're increasing on the 27th for our game only or from the 27th onwards for all their games? I've never heard of such a thing and reading their site and ours there are 2 different sets of prices. I really want to go to this game but it's a principal thing here, I'm torn between backing the club I love and being ripped off, what a dilemma. Am gonna have to sleep on this for a while zzzzzzzzz

I'll tell you why simply because its away fans they want to skank as much money as they can for their coffers, and i wouldnt be surprised if the reason for wakey game being the first one with increased prices has summat to do with hull / richard agar. Rkch and pearson didnt see eye to eye when he took over so thats why rich went.

I'll stay home that weekend first game missed this season but wont be paying more than hull fans for same view its ridiculous. Hull fans can sit down at bellvue for around 22-23 pounds we have to pay minimum of 25 to sit. I personally always stand where i can so id pay £20 at bellevue even better. Trip to hull for me and 3 others will be off, not paying over £100 for four of uws to geet into a ground

Not much discount for senior citizens and students, £19!!!!!

Call me old fashioned but I've never been a fan of being seated at a game and really hope (when) Newmarket is developed, there is a standing terrace like at Warrington.

For me, third class standing is better than first class seating.

It’s beyond belief that some people will try and justify a separate pricing policy for a different set of fans in the same kind of seats. It’s an out and out scam on the away fans and everyone should boycott it. The Rugby League family is no more we are just like football. Hull should be ashamed of themselves and the RFL should get involved and put an end to discriminatory policy!

So let me get this right:

If we wanted to sit at Belle Vue - we pay £22-£23 (according to the poster above)
If you want to sit at the KC - you pay £23 (if bought in advance, as has been proven on this thread)

There is no segregation at the KC, if you want to pay £19, go in the South Stand, there is absolutely nothing stopping you, just whinging for the sake of it.
