Could do with some pace putting in that side. It was a major weakness with our side last year when Murphy went down. Eden and Walmsley fit this need. But then again Mcgillivary would be a good addition too. Add Riley Dean for competition in the half backs. Plus a couple of more props and we are getting there.

We have 1 x centre only and I’d say we need x 3 minimum.
We have 2 x halves and need 1 x quality signing there.
We have 4 x props - 5/6 usually needed. 2 x needed here.
We have 1 x LF and will need an interchange option there.
We have 1 x Winger (Kay) who is more of a utility these days. We need 2/3 x wingers.
We have 1 x 9 signed in Hood. We need another1/2 options here.

Amongst this I agree we need some pace out wide.

There needs to be 2/3 quality additions in that. Preferable a big damaging forward, a quality centre and id like a bit more quality in the spine at 9 or 13.

That’s what I think we need but who’s to say that something like that won’t be announced. I’m looking forward to seeing who else we sign and how the squad shaped up.

Wouldn’t be keen tbh. I’m sure we could find a better centre out there somewhere. I’d probably rather keep Croft than Leilua.

I also think we need someone who can provide competent cover at fullback. We only have Max as far as I see it.

Leilua scored 28 tries in 38 played for Fev. An aggressive powerful centre who can still be a real handful.

I’m not sure on his fitness levels and it’s not his attack that I think is lacking. Fev obviously don’t feel like he can bring them success.

If he signed I would back him obviously but there will be a number of centre options available I’m sure. Someone mentioned Connor Wrench.

I’m sure the club will probably be speaking to plenty of players.

Starting to take a bit of shape though I expect there will be some movement as players are announced.

Quite happy with Croft who will soon be entering his best years and he certainly has the hands and ability of a centre.

A lot of players who are under the agent that had a poor relationship with our previous owners are signing/resigning. Obviously a good sign

Most of the signings have been 'low hanging fruit', local players and retentions. Overseas players take time to sort out. Matt has only had the club a short time but I am sure work will be happening. After all we need to get them right, not sign the overseas rubbish that the last lot brought to the club, last season

For the overseas players, I think it makes more sense to sign them when we need them rather than in the off season when everyone is looking to fill squads so they come at a premium cost. Leave ourselves with some quota spots free and pick up players part way through the season who maybe aren't getting the game time with SL and NRL clubs, but will help us in the back half of the season if we're pushing for trophies
