Not a clue what your on about mopsey. This is first time I have contributed to this site in any capacity. I am not bored of all the discussions just the one where I was repeating myself so had sense to stop that line.
Anyway just read the full jm interview and I am even more convinced he should stay on as middle man. He has too much knowledge re img process that will be Invaluable over next year or so.

No bromine never met the nan orobably never will. I am just looking at it from a club / business sense. Last company I worked for was bought by a big company and old md offered to stay on for a year and all was going well until new owners thought they new it all after a couple of months and told him to bugger off. Problem was he knew everything suppliers , agents etc and that was all lost and consequently new firm lasted 2 years. Knowledge is power as they say and to me he would be the glue. Sorry I have a different take on the club and am not bitter and hold vendetta against individuals like some. There are 2 sides to every story and this mine , others may agree or may not but I hope I do try and look forward with a positive mind set.

Let's not do this. Trying to 'out' someone always goes wrong. Some on here should know better.

Trin e ti is not alone in thinking Minards is good for the club. I base it on the same logic he does having gone through plenty of takeovers and it is logical to keep knowledge in house, at least for the transition.
If Ellis has someone else in mind it isn't a problem, just a slower start.

What I don't get is people who have no idea who Ellis would put in place are so confident everything will be better.
That 'better' life remains to be seen.

Regardless of whether you like Minards or blame him for the team (which isn't him), he was brought in to get the stadium done and he has done something no one else has been able to do in getting the stadium development off the ground. That project isn't finished. If it isn't Minards, the new person needs to be top notch

Knowledge is power, but at the same time, you wouldnt blame him, if Ellis wanted a total clean slate, if the takeover continues to progress, without any problems further down the line.

Its not unknown for businesses to have a consultant onside, without them neccesarily being on the BOD or payroll

I wouldn't blame anyone who is trying to take club forward. They may well have the personal to do this without jm input only they know. If they have all well and good if not then foolish not to utilise his knowledge.

You talk about his knowledge but where has his knowledge got us?

Since Minnards joined the product on the field has got worse every season, that is not me spouting rubbish as some people would say, that is a fact.

People say he is on top of the IMG stuff but I would hazard a guess that by reading the document which is readily available online anybody from here would have the same knowledge on it.
