Stanley Rangers U12s have got Dewsbury Moor a league above them in the semifinal of the challenge cup round, when we last played there was just 2pts points in it in both games so hope we can go better this time,

Stanley Rangers u10's start the season at home to a tough Stanningley side. Plenty of prep work done in training, and the boys are chomping at the bit! One or two little injury worry's, but can't wait to get started....

a pleasing start to the year from our point of view although we were a little rusty at times and defencively not at our best but to be expected after 3 months off,a lot of credit to crigglestone who never gave up and were very enthusiastic early on,im sure they will get better and have some good players that will cause teams problems.

goal kicking needs to be better from us 1 from 7 was a poor return.

Enjoyed it this morning & the lads all did well without either of the coaches there . We were all expecting a tough game and certainly got one - all those easy yards they were making before Xmas weren't there any more and so they'll have learnt loads about the effort that's needed both in training and in the games .
Chuffed about your kickers missing so many - made it look a lot more respectable for us !

Stanley Rangers U12s 12 Dewsbury Moor U12s 4

we are now in the final of the junior challenge cup, after a hard fought battle we have now managed to shake the hoodoo against Dewsbury Moor

not the best start to the season for the stanley 10s going down to defeat at home to stanningley by about 10 points (OV to confirm), the lack of out door training as hampered us and to say the lads were rusty is a little bit overstated .
however eastmoore next week , gutted that im gonna miss that one

the 8s put up a brave fight at kippax and from 4-0 down at half ended up losing 6-3 a big improvement

Yes Mutts, 28-38. Still scratching my head at this one, worst defensive display in over 18 months IMHO. Take nothing away from Stanningley, they worked harder and wanted it more. We didn't defend a full set of six ALL GAME

massive game on for the Stanley Rangers U12s they play Driglington at home 11-30 K.o, this side like to come up in the tackle so its hard to make leaway on them, lets see how the cope with a full sized pitch



Crigg looks like they are won the league but I think there''s two points extra from when they played Upton, shows 15pts on the grid,

Crigg under 10's won in the wet this morning against Lock lane 36-18.Was a tight game up till half time (14-12)but when they realized that their big lad COULD be stopped and with a bit of passing they ran away with it - Lock lane only scoring in the second half with the last play of the match .
Much ,much better team performance this week

wow what a game that was Stanley Rangers U12s took the bull by the horns and ran an impressive 40 -0 in,
their coach in the after match speeches praised how ruthless the lads was and wished us well in the two coming cup finals, the only downer was that my lad ended up coming off injured after 15 mins,

cas panthers u10s played some good rugby against a much improved drighlington side with the panthers running out 26-12 winners,it was 12-6 at the break to the panthers who were pinned back for long periods on their own line but the defence held firm and some very fluent rugby allowed us to score some good team tries.

outstanding result from East Leeds it now put us in the driving seat to catch up,

doesn't sound too good for Crigglestone U12s told of unrest in the team which is a shame, I have been on the receiving end of something similar when my lad played at Eastmoor Dragons,
at the end of the day this is for the kids to get out and enjoy the game as well as learn it, the social aspect helps the kids grow quicker with confidence and doesn't help when arguments are caused by over indulgent parents,

we play them in the final of the Wakefield cup and I hope that they don't get the wrong end of hiding as it can do more harm than good.

Well you know what Snowie, I am probabaly going to get banned for this, but who gives a to55 ! the main problem is not parents in general, but Woman, full stop. They are a first class pain in the butt cheeks, know everything, all past Internationals, tactical demigods, and stirers of the smelly brown stuff on a biblical scale. I vote to ban all Woman from Junior sport, end of all problems See you in 2 weeks



ps, a real classic 2 weeks ago, Gary Schofield, GB's most capped International at 46 caps, was referee in a local game, one Woman who again like the above mentioned knew everything, and gave nothing but abuse to him. I choked at the next one, Woman " oh moron, have you any idea how to play this game ?"

this mornings u10s game finished eastmoor 20 cas panthers 12,full credit to eastmoor they completely outplayed us in every facet of the game,very disapointing performance from us even more disapointing was the fact that some parents chose to take their kids straight home because they had the sulks cos they had lost

makes you wonder why anybody bothers giving up their time and money to coach.

that's a big shame, didn't get chance to see eastmoor last week as we were away . some parents only look at the scoreline at times which is a little bit off a simplistic way to look at things . when our 10s were under 8s we must off only won 1 in 3 or 4 but the coach installed some really good ethics into the players. the lads went up to the 9s and won the next 17 . the parents don't realise at times that you can come away with defeat but improve in certain areas just like at times you can win and be disappointed that they have gone backwards.

no matter what though its just plain courtesy that you attend the after match presentation to show some respect for the lads who have put their bodies on the line and to recognise the achievements of the opposition.

stanley under 12s had a close encounter with east leeds but won 22 - 10, with two league games left both away its in our hands, next game up is dudley hill



also we have now gone undefeated in the league at home

Crigg under 10's won against Dewsbury Celtic playing some good rugby despite the wind, bog of a pitch and a biased ref . Final score was 28-8 with every kick missed because of the wind .Some great goal-line defence from Crigg today but can't see how Celtic managed to beat Stanningley last week , 2 great big lads but didn't cause too much trouble .
Sorry to hear that parents are causing unrest at other clubs too - thought that was just us ! Agree with Mutley 100% , the lads are all learning more and more every week, enjoying their rugby , but some of the parents just can't see that -if they haven't won it's all just been a waste of time .

Stanley Rangers u 10's came away with a hard fought victory at Lock Lane, finished 28-32 in our favour. We raced into a 16-0 lead and then went to sleep. But a wins a win, and the Cas Panthers score makes our draw with Eastmoor last week look a little better
