Jesus wept that’s a blow. Gaskell at fullback when ever I’ve seen him is a turnstile in defence. Our attack on Friday was non existent so can’t comment on how he chymes in

It was our choice to go with only one experienced full back and at best a few fill ins however this was not foreseen to be a problem by some. We had on Friday a centre at stand off, an half back at hooker, a winger at centre and Gaskell at fullback. I know they may have played in these positions before but it is not what they are recognised for.

Hall can play at Full Back, it’s not a position he’s unfamiliar with

He was awful at FB against Hull FC in that friendly. Not played FB since his junior days.
