You know much as I've disagreed with Alegend and his idea that big-name players sell season tickets, this would be one of the few that I think actually would. Apart from being a great player, there are so many ways you can hype the twin brothers combo. And if they do actually play well together and Andrew became part of the team then I reckon we'd pick up a hell of a lot of casuals and even opposition fans if they were free that day.

Sadly I'm 99.999999999% certain this is an utter fantasy on my part but we can all dream.

Wasn't the £1 to try and get him back after he'd already gone to Wigan. The original transfer of Wright from Wakey to Wigan was announced and over in a flash.

He ended up going to Shudds the same season as our 1st in Super League. Remember Steve Ferres saying that Wrights agent had been told whatever Wakefield offered Shudds would top it. What a loss Wright was to the game due to mixture of injury and getting duffed up when out round Wakefield.

Wright's main problem was Wigan insisted he bulk up in gym stop him been nimble on is feet, and though never a speed merchant was slower going through the gap. Pity he could have been up with the best

Indeed. Didn't the club once charter a Helicopter to get Wright and Adrian Flynn to an away game at Oldham when the two had been on U23 International duty in France? Game was televised I seem to remember.
Flynn was another in a long line of young players who looked potentially top class at Trinity until getting transferred elsewhere. Richard Goddard perhaps the best example?
