I believe its because payments will be collected via direct debits and £2 a week by DD is not an option. quaterly half yearly and tearly collections are available.

If you ask they will do it monthly.

I know some people cant afford if and they should not be asked to, but for many people £2 a week isnt any great hardship and it is a win/win senario.
If your numbers come up thats great and I hope i'm first, but if not it is the club that benifit with the extra cash helping the club get stronger which should in the long term mean that we have a more competetive side on the playing field.
So if you can afford the £2 get signed up and if you want to sign but think the payment options are poor, speak to the club.
We need to get on board quickly, its NOW or NEVER.

On the letter that came with my registered numbers it said payment was by standing order.

On mine it says "if you are paying by standing order" you will be eligable to win when payment is received.

Just checked the application and its not made clear whether its DD or standing order. I have mine complete to hand in this weekend or early next week.

It will be a standing order because the amount and frequency of collections will be fixed (like squadbuilder). A Direct Debit allows for varying amounts to be taken

Yes I got some from the caravan yesterday. While you're there why not get some extras and drop them through a few letterboxes. I helped at the Hudders match and had a few left over. Rather than waste them I popped them all through neighbour's letterboxes. Went back and got some more and soon got them handed out. Will be back on Monday for a third batch. Have learnt of three new punters because of this so for me the shoe leather was worth it.

Wonder if the local businesses we are affiliated with distribute the leaflets to their company staff.

I got my letter today, which said 'we've included some leaflets for your family and friends' - unfortunately, no leaflets were included. Bit of a breakdown in communication between the management and the envelope stuffers?

Either way, I'll be signing up the kids, so three members in our house plus 2 ST holders; I think we're doing our bit!

For anyone who hasnt got an application form. Go onto the Wildcats website, scroll down to "community", then click on Club 1873 and you can download and print your own form.
Its pretty straight forward, so get signed up and lets give the RFL a headache.

There's nothing to photocopy - there weren't any forms included.

It did occur to me to download one and copy, but I don't want to be handing out amateurish looking photocopied forms on behalf of the club.

Problem solved - I'm calling in this week on some other business, so I'll grab a batch then.

We just need to collectively bang the drum as loud as possible and make as many folk as possible aware of the 1873club.
