About as expected. A bottom three battle is about our level this season i'm afraid.

I'd take that over not having a club to support.

Aim low and hopefully you wont be disappointed.

You never know, hopefully some ££££ might start to become available during the early part of the season.

Very much so. And lets be honest its going to be difficult to watch at times cos we'll get some serious touch ups as the quality just isn't there. But as long as they try their nuts off I don't mind.

2011 is all about building a platform for the future.

Apparently the effort was there what more can we ask for. Just take a step back look at the squad look at their names and what they've done

Thats whats getting me down about our current plight, last time we went to a cva we were paying too much for quality, in theory, players.
This time we cant even afford SL standard players, a few aside.
Can see things going downhill further before they go up and Im stuffed if I can see where all these saying we are making a current profit are coming from!!

Once again Johnson was great, Morrison was quality and Penny looked for and did a lot of work. Defence in 1st half looked keen and well organised. 2nd half Bradford started offloading and cut us to bits. Just could not fault the effort. We obviously lack any class and it shows when we have the ball in hand, we just are not going to trouble any defences. ( only Millard put their defenders in any doubt today ) Our ball control was very poor, I bet our set completion rate was somewhere around 20%.
That said it was only a friendly, players who we know can play a bit, Jeffries, Obst, Murph did not seem to push themselves.

There was plenty of effort from the lads this afternoon but the gulf in strength, fitness and quality was quite evident.

Just got back - shockingly bad performance, particularly from some unexpected quarters; Morro was off colour, King was butter-fingered and Jeffries looked disinterested until the last 10 minutes.

Johnson was again our stand out player for me - looks like he'll prove a good signing.

We made Bradford look like world-beaters and my feet are freezing - not the best Sunday afternooon ever!

Seems to be some conflicting reports on the performance. I would personally be happy so long as the effort was there.

Did we pick up any injuries, did they all look ok after the game finished

There didn't seem to be any injuries, although you never know - Luke George took a tackle, so he could easily be out for 3 months, being made of biscuits and all.

We were shocking. One bulls player could run along our line holding off 3-4 Wakey players before breaking through. Happened numerous times.

Going to be a long season.

Well the best thing to do is make some money out of them.
Currently Cas are -6 for the MM game (was -4 this morning).
Sorry but that is a no-brainer of a bet. I would suggest Cas by 18 plus would be nearer the mark.

Normaly I would agree with that but looking at our squad and pack we will do well to win 6 games next season not that it will matter either way we start life in the National Leagues at best in 2012
