I think i'd cry!!!

My idea would be a celebration of all things Wakefield in general and Wakefield Trinity in particular. It should be a celebration of our proud sporting history, similar to the 130 year dinner celebration we did for Squadbuilder which featured players from every decade of our history back to 1946. Then we should incorporate elements from what the new community stadium means, say an array of foods cooked up by Wakefield College hospitality students( to include Rhubabrb dishes), displays from sporting groups such as Wakefield Wheeled Cats, Wakefield Phoenix Netball, Wakefield Hockey, Wakefield FC etc and also to feature Wakefield Music ( I know having spoken to them that the Solicitors would love to do such an event , I can contact ) The Cribs featured Belle Vue on two of the album covers, maybe Slugger could read from his books etc etc

We've got to draw the line somewhere!

How about an auction for a bit of BV memorabelia?

a thousand red, white and blue balloons filled with helium with invitations to the first game at Newmarket, our part of spreading the expansion

Would be a good way of getting rid of the hangers-on at the end.

How about we invite all our past an present players who graced the famous turf to come on the pitch at the end of the last game and have their picture taken from the top of the hospitality boxes.

I think something of that nature is a gimme tbh.

I want something where we have the chance to take part in something on our great turf! Some kind of fun activities - preferably where we end up looking like the idiots we are!

Only the club officials know that one, but they have confirmed that it is a SL standard stadium. One assumes they mean Oakwell, but you know what they say about assumptions.

What about an audience with Wakefield's oldest fans?

Get four or five of the oldest fans on a stage and have them interviewed by a Wakefield legend about the good old days.
