I think anyone with a fair judgment wouldn’t. People will always have scape goats etc. I personally thought Lineham carried the ball strong and had the best pre season of all our 4 wingers.

Just watched the game back in full, we've got to be better than that but on another day we win that game. A fair number of the tries scored by Catalans were on the back of very silly errors with the final try been the cherry on top.

Sorry but we will agree to disagree on this. We were coming on strong and Catalans were well on the back foot on their line. It’s not just about territory but the momentum. It was with us at that point with 6 tackles on the line and all the pressure. We never got that pressure or field position back from that point. It was the momentum and game changer which started our poor spell.

The other ones weren’t good either.

It was an error from Murphy, he should've shielded the ball better or gone for the safe option and taken the ball out himself. He's a kid only in his second season, Lineham is an experienced pro who not should be making those mistakes.

Not sure what the new pitch cost but in my opinion it was a waste of money the playing surface was the only good thing about BV

To be fair having looked at stats he wasnt the worse he made an average 10 meters per carry second only to butler who averaged 11, procter had 3 carries with a total of 14 meters although made 31 tackles which was 4th best behind ashurst pitts and jai

Butler ran the ball into the tacklers with plenty of pace and umph. Improving all the time.

My son and I were just commenting how well Butler was taking the ball in and saying, 'He will do , if he keeps this up every gane'. Then he is taken off . Strange we thought.

Thought butler had a great game and ran really well.

Got to echo the sentiments about Butler. Has come back looking hungry in pre-season and thought he went well when he came on. If the other members of our pack had the same intensity we wouldn't have struggled carrying the ball out as much as we did.
