I do not support a chairman it is Wakefield Trinity I support and any negativity is due to the way I think he treats the latter and us. I would suggest you want to get your own priorities sorted out before you have a go at me.

I don't agree with everything that has been done since the new chairman took over but don't expect to be consulted over them. I believe it would be better if there was a channel for the fans to let their views be known but at the end of the day he who pays the piper plays the tune. I certainly think better engagement with the fans who are left needs to be worked on.

Hey Scarlet.....been supporting the Trin for over Forty years . Seen some real dross, seen some real poor management but NEVER have I come across anyone so bitter , against an individual running our club. Just think our Priorty is Super League survival then we can start to sort other things out.

I really do not understand how anyone on here can criticise the people who have put in huge amounts of time and effort over the last few years on behalf of this club( i,e Sandal Cat/IA/TRB plus others) - everyone needs to remember they are volunteers who are doing their best to help the club(and the rest of us) achieve the goal of a new ground. Anyone who thinks they can do better should step up to the mark and do it

Probably too small a site, ridiculously constrained with two major roads and schools either side and I'm not 100% sure but isn't the building listed.

Best place for a stadium, as it's always been, is Thornes Park. What an opportunity missed by WMDC to create something truly worthwhile with their ridiculous specification.

No, the best place by far was Durkar but that's history. WMDC has saved the club on one occasion but in my opinion have the let the club down badly on numerous occasions since. Much more help could have been given to identify a suitable site.

I know there are numerous issues and this has almost certainly been addressed before so excuse me - advancing years and all that - but is redeveloping BV completely out of the question?

The new snow hill development that's behind the old planning office to the (York court) owned paragon business park would be a good place they're are putting that through planning again get a community stadium on it and only 5 mins from City centre

I know. I stood in the N Stand before the game yesterday, ground bathed in sunshine, and I just couldn't comprehend that it might be the last game ever at BV or that anyone could even think of building houses on that turf!

Just because they've never approached the club doesn't mean that they wouldn't be interested if they themselves were contacted. Sometimes it's about it being the right time for someone and even they might not know they're interested until someone makes them think about it!

Joking aside Carter has said enough times that if anyone wants to take on the mantle he would gladly sell the club for a quid, I guess the millionaires just aren't that interested in losing money.

But that's not the same is it!

Telling a crowded room of 100 supporters that you'll step aside for a quid is not the same as having an active strategy to seek and cultivate prospective directors or potential new owners.
